"so disapointed" I read the review then I decided to buy them.I realy like corelle dinner ware so I am looking for to get them but I got the set of one bowl broken. Immedeatly I retured it and they sent me back replace item so quick but,,, it was also broken one. I could not belive it but I thought They never check the stock and deliver me maybe same one I retuned. This time I order refund. Now I realy think never buy any brakable item from amazon anymore. "Beautiful!" As someone before me stated, the printing on these dishes is a little lighter than the picture portrays; yet I still found them to be beautiful. I bought them to for everyday dishes to replace the cheep dish set I bought my freshman year college. I wasn't quite sure if I was going to like them because I really don't care for the majority of Corelle's lines, but I thought I'd give them a shot and I was pleasantly suprised! I found them be a nice, durable, everyday set. They're a little thicker than traditional Corelle dishes that gives them a substance, and the soft, square shape is very modern. I'm even looking forward to using them for casual, small get togethers because their nice enough to use when company comes. I would definately recomend them to anyone. "Better Than Ever..." I recently bought these dishes for my mother for an anniversary present (It was what she wanted...). We have had corelle my entire life, HOWEVER, these are by far better quality than any other corelle dishes we have ever had. They are thicker, heavier. The design is delicate and beautiful. I have no doubt that these will last as long, if not longer, than any other set we have ever owned. Beautiful, tough and long-lasting; what else can a family ask for? "Corelle is the best!" I love these corelle dishes. They definitely get banged around and we haven't chipped any yet. They are very lightweight. I love the pattern but I wish the bowls had some of the cherry blossoms and not just the pink line. "As happy as can be!" These dishes are perfect. I love the square design. Have had 2 other sets of Corelle over the last 35 years. Would never have anything else.

What our customer's say! "love my new dishes", I got 2 sets of these to replace my heavy, clunky dishes that didn't stack well and chipped way too easily. These stack so nicely, which is important for me because I have a small kitchen with very limited cupboard space. With my old dishes I used to have to keep some of them in my basement, but now I can fit both sets in my kitchen with more room than I had before. They are light and durable, too. I love the cherry blossom pattern, even though I don't normally like pink. It is very pretty and simple. I really like the square shape, I just think it looks a little more modern. They arrived right on time, nothing broken at all. Overall, I'm very happy with them. They are my first set of Corelle and if I ever need to get more dishes I will certainly get Corelle again. "Satisfied overall", On the whole I am very pleased with this set of dishes. It is much thicker than the older set of Corelle I replaced. They fit well in my dishwasher-the square shape keeps little splinters from occurring along the edges that sit below the rack on round dishes. My only disappointment is that the cups are not made from the same material. I wanted cups made in the USA because I wanted a guarantee that they did NOT contain lead-based glazes. I feel that it should have been stated that these were ceramic cups manufactured outside the USA both on the company's website and in the product description. There is a very tiny disclaimer on the box that cannot be seen when purchased online. When asked, the company has assured me that the cups have been tested by an independent company and no traces of lead have been found.I have chosen to keep them. "Corelle", What a quality seving set. The set is a heavier material and the pattern is beautiful! It is everything the add said and more! I'm totally satisfied. "Beautiful and durable", We have been "Corelle" fans for many years; owning severeral sets before this one. "Ultra" is a substantial improvement in the product line. Added durability (not exactly "Bullet Proof"), but VERY close, and a beautiful compliment to our kitchen table...what more could I ask for ??? We have young grandchildren that are very much a part of our everyday lives; and IF we find something that we can use and enjoy without fear of destruction, we welcome it. THIS IS IT !!! I strongly recommend Corelle Ultra as "everyday" dishes for both family and friends. We own an RV,and we were so impressed with the "Ultra" that we purchasd an extra complete set for "home away from home". GJM "extremely disappointed", I've had several sets of corelle over the years and my daughter picked out this set for a gift. The first plate out of the box was so poorly printed out of line that single branch tips were double branch tips. In looking over the dishes the picture quality was very coarse and looked and felt like a decal. We didn't even open the second box because we knew we were sending it back. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "not so hot.", I'm sure these dishes are durable and practical, as are all corelle dishes-- the problem is the quality of the decoration. It looks INCREDIBLY cheap and tacky in person. The online image does not accurately reflect the look of the real product. By the way, I sent these back a long time ago and have yet to see my card be credited for the return. "Beauty and function!", I saw this pattern online at Corelle and scoured stores and websites looking for it. After reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase it, being forwarned about the 'faded' look, and possible breakage, but knowing Amazon's reputation I felt reassured in purchasing sight unseen. It came in perfect condition, fast shipping. The pattern is understated, very zen and non-threatening for my flower-phobic husband. I adore the set but felt it was too much for an 8 pc setting, so I purchased Corelle Square Round Pure White 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 to complement it. Perfect! "Great Dinnerware", We love this dinnerware. The Corelle quality along with the beautiful Cherry Blossom design will make this a future heirloom. Thank you! "Photo is misleading ...", When the plates arrived, I almost expected something to be broken but everything came in good condition. I bought two sets for our family of 5. I was a little dissappointed but we decided to keep the sets. The square design is very nice and I like the thickness of the mugs. A little strange drinking from a square shaped mug but no one seems to mind too much. The plates are also very sturdy. I had dropped one in the sink and it surprisingly did not break. It's a good purchase for the price I paid ($59.49 per set) but I wouldn't purchase these for the full price of $79.99. |
