"Tommie in Florida" I had ordered the ironing board. It came with the cover on it. Loved the board - a little heavy but adjustable height, rack, place for the iron is great. Just found the pad not as thick as it should be for smooth ironing - it ruffles on the small end which shows on the fabric. Contacted Rowenta to see if I could purchase a separate pad but not available. I never took the pad off - only tried to tighten. Ordered the additional cover thinking I could add the pad - unfortunately it's all 1 piece. "Don't try to wash it - ever" I bought the Rowenta professional ironing board, which came with this cover. After about 1 year of use, I washed the cover in cold water and let it air dry. Even with these washing/drying conditions, the cover shrunk appreciably, and would no longer fit on the ironing board. "Best Ironing Board Cover" This is the best ironing board cover I've ever purchased. It fit snugly, but was not difficult to put on. It is nicely padded as well. Very happy with it! "Ironing board Cover" This cover is excellent, but note that it best fits the ironing board that it was made for and that board is much wider than a regular priced ironing board. Also, if you're buying one to go with the Roweta Ironing Bord, the board purchased new, comes with the same cover already installed. "Unknown size" The only size stated was the size of the ironing board cover folded for shipping. I was taking a chance that the cover would fit and it didn't. It cost me about a third of the price to return it. I purchased one from another manufacturer that clearly stated the size.

"GOOD QUALITY - BUT A LITTLE SHORT", I really like the feel and quality of this ironing board pad...but, somehow it ended up being too short for my ironing board, which I thought for sure,was a standard size. Lesson learned here, measure your board before you make your purchase! "poor dimension information", The dimensions listed in the description of this item are SO incorrect! The cover isn't 69" long, it's 49" long! That is a big difference. Amazon, shame on you! Get this error fixed immediately, please! "Wrong Measurments Listed", Item info lists the ironing board cover at 65" long. It is only 49" long, just as it is written on the ironing board cover packaging. Very disappointing as I have had great difficulty finding a cover for my very long ironing board. Otherwise, if it had been long enough, the padding and construction is superior. "Excellent Product", I had been looking for a cover for my ironing board for the last year. I had gone to every Bed,Bath&Beyond, Linen&Things, Target, etc. imaaginable and was unable to find a cover that fit my board. I highly recommend this product based on the perfect fit and cushion it provides. Five stars is not enough to rate this product "ironing board", I usually stint on ironing boards but my last very cheap one had finally died after years of service and I decided to splurge on this one. It is big, sturdy and very well made. Since they last so long, why not get one you'd really like to have? 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Good quality cover - one of the few for wide boards!", Good product - the only reason it isn't five stars is that the velcro fasteners under the board do not hold well, and I'm going to have to either sew them on or find another method. "Top quality!", Top Quality and perfect fit for the Rowenta IB6200 Ironing Board. I just wish the price hadn't gone up. "My wife is delighted!", This is a quality product and well worth the price. It fits perfectly (ignore the dimensions given under Product Details.) It DOES fit the Rowenta IB-6200 Ironing Board! The cover attaches easily and provides a smooth ironing surface. This is a class product. "Rowenta Ironing board cover", This cover fits the WONDERFUL Rowenta Ironing board. It is very durable. The ONLY drawback I see is that there should be a thicker pad under the cover. "Rowenta - The Best!", Rowenta products seem to be the best one can get in laundry care. We own a Professional iron and board; there is no better board -- stable and the cover (which is what is being reviewed) is the best. Well made and a perfect fit, what more can one ask for, except perhaps for a lower price? |
