"the big joe", i bought two of these because every other travel mug was too small or too big. this mug is just the right size for me holding a full 12 oz can of soda WITH ICE. this mug fits nicely in my auto cup holder.

a couple notes to consider. There are two drain holes on the bottom of the black plastic base. These leak out any condensation or moisture that gets in behind the stainless steel. the instructions that come with the mug say it is not dishwater safe but i ignored that, oh well, i guess i just voided my warranty. also, the rubber ribs are cool and touchy feely but they are set into slots cut into the stainless steel given moisture another way into the insulation cavity. i wouldn't try sticking this thing in the microwave.

"Best Big Joe Mug", This travel mug is the best i have found. BIG 24OZ and keeps it hot for my long drive to work. NO LEAKS, NO DRIBBLES. Can't be beat for the price. Yes I bought TWO, nothing like a great backup in case i forget it at work. I have had about a dozen travel mugs this is far and away my best find. I have also bought six more as gifts for friends.

"Good buy", It's big but not too big. Fits well into a car cupholder, and the lid is easy to wash (unlike other types of lids, it's all one piece). I would recommend if you like to nurse your coffee over the course of a morning.

"Not bad but not good either", The pros are : It's stainless, Kept a coffee hot long enough for me, Size was perfect for me.

The cons : Price ( saw a two pack (after I ordered from here)at *al-*art for $7.98 in auto section,) The Lid is NOT a spill proof locking lid top (my office requires mugs to be), The top is not a screw on lid, its a push in and pull out takes quite a bit of hand stength.

Wish I had known before ordering it didn't have a spill proof lockable lid top.

"Too expensive, doesn't keep warm", For the price paid, the mug barely keeps the beverage warm, let alone hot. For a third of the price, I can buy a mug which keeps my tea equally luke-warm!

"Big Cuppa Joe", This mug is great. It is the Venti size at Starbucks in case you are wondering. It does keep the coffee hot for the 2 hours I like to sip it in the office. Normally I have iced coffee on hour 2 in my office so qualify my hot with that cause most people would call hour 2 warm. Anyway the only way this mug could be better is if the handle was fully attached and the inside was stainless steel like the smaller Oxo good grips thermal coffee mug. I have not had any leakage but sloshage is another story. My husband brakes hard so I wound up wearing a bit of the coffee. I got this mug because I like to get my coffee before the greedy people drink all the Southern Pecan coffee I bring in to the office....hmm does that make me just as greedy?

"Travel Mug", Nice size. Keeps coffee warm for over an hour.
Handle is a little undersized for this cup. There's a lot of play in it when the cup is full which means the handle may fail. The lid fit could be tighter. I would buy this again.

"Not a bit of a problem", I am very happy with my mug. It keeps my coffee warm until 11:00 or so (having left the house at 7:00 a.m.) and right now I'm doing iced coffee and it keeps it cool for hours more. I haven't had a problem with it being top heavy or the handle breaking off. I would recommend the product and will probably buy another, just so I have a back up, because my husband keeps stealing it and leaving me stuck.

"Huge cup!", Holds alot and keeps them warm! Fits in my car cup holder as well where not much else does!

"I guess I just don't like plastic mugs", I had a stainless mug and it really kept the coffee hot for a long time, several hours. This mug is much lighter, being that it's plastic. It feel cheap and doesn't keep the coffee hot at all, maybe an hour. If you just want something to grab for coffee on the way to work, I guess it's OK. It fits in a standard cup holder and it's easy to drink from. It's not spill proof but it doesn't splash either. Because it has a metal exterior you can't microwave it, so you need to drink your coffee within about an hour or drink it cold. The fully metal mug I have doesn't fit into a cup holder, it's got a wide bottom. I was looking for this shape and the qualities of the steal mug.
After several months of trying to use this mug I finally threw it out. I was drinking hot tea and the plastic smell and taste was so strong it scared me, so out it went. I'm sticking to stainless in and out.
