"Tastes like dirty dishwater." This is weak, weak, weak coffee. Little tiny t-discs, icky yucky brownish water pretending to be coffee, like weak tea with a faint coffee taste. I wouldn't recommend this for people who actually like coffee. "My husband's favorite!" My husband has tried about six different varieties of coffee from the Tassimo and he didn't care for any of them. He actually thought the machine was the problem. Then he tried this brand/blend and he loves it. It's actually too weak for me, but I like a really strong cup. "Have the coffee, not the pot !" I ordered the Tassimo Coffee Maker and coffee discs for my daughter. I received the coffee in a timely manner, but I have yet to recieve the coffee maker....very dissapointed with this service.... "Great Coffee" I have tried several Tassimo T Discs and the Gevalia is the best coffee I have ever tasted. I am a "coffee snob" and love this coffee. "Great product for Tassimo users" I love my Tassimo, and really enjoy this brand of coffee; it is strong without being bitter, has a very good taste.

"2 years", We have used this product for over 2 years and have found it to be the best as far as quality and flavor are concerned, without the bitterness found in Starbucks or the burnt taste of Dunkin Donuts restaurant coffee. JJ "wishy washy", I'm not one to like strong coffee but the Gevalia Signature Blend is so weak I really dislike it. I found the Signature Blend Decaf to be wonderful and hoped the regular coffee would have the same characteristics but it is very weak. I'm heading back to hazelnut. "switched to Starbucks", The Gevalia coffees are a little weak for my taste, so I switched to all Starbucks House Blend and Africa Kitamu. "Simply the best.", If you want a quick cup of coffee that is simply the best, this is it! I have had other pod coffees all with a bitter aftertaste. I love love love this brand. You simply can not go wrong with any of the Gevalia flavors. "Vending machine coffee tastes better", I can't say I'd recommend this coffee. If not for the convenience, I wouldn't ever have rebought it, but now I've found a better choice for regular coffee in the Tassimo - either Starbucks Breakfast Blend, or Jacobs Kronung. Both beat this coffee hands down in flavor. The Jacobs doesn't make as much coffee though. This coffee tastes like vending machine coffee at a highway rest stop - the kind from a machine that hasn't been tended to recently. Thin and yucky. Sorry, Gevalia fans. They make a good espresso, though, and the latte and cappuccino choices are much better. Pass on this one if you're not sure and try one of the others. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Birthday Present", I bought this as a present for my son's birthday. He is very happy with it. "JustAnotherGeek", This is a nice smooth cup. If you are looking for a brew that will scream "THIS IS A CUP OF COFFEE DAMN-IT" it is not for you. No, this cup has good flavor, and is a nice mello brew, great for a mid morning or early afternoon pick-me-up if you are not participating in a decathalon event. If that is what you are looking for, the Tassimo concept is probably not for you. The Seattles Best is a stronger Brew. Give that a shot if you want something different with a little more kick. "EXCELLENT COFFEE", I REALLY LIKE THIS COFFEE VERY MUCH EASY TO MAKE WITH THE TASSIMO MACHINE "tassimo disks", love these. they are so handy. no mess. just right for one person and taste great. much smoother than a starbucks cup of joe. "Delicious non-bitter coffee", I've tried several of the t-disc coffees sold for Tassimo. I feel this coffee is the best-tasting of them all. It is strong, but smooth and not bitter tasting at all! |
