"Piece of Junk"
It is very small. Which was fine with us since it is only 2 of us. Within 1 use the removable Infuser was cracked at the top. Still usable but annoying. By the third use it is not cracked on the body of the pitcher where the handle bonds with the body. Now it leaks all over and is un-usable. What a waste of money.

"Filter is all wrong"
I guzzle ice tea like a Hummer eats gasoline. I tried this ice tea maker hoping it would make my effort a little less. No dice.

The problem is the stupid plastic filter. My loose tea leaves get stuck in about a quarter of the filter holes, and WON'T rinse out. So how do I clean it? I have to take a toothpick and INDIVIDUALLY poke out the tea leaves from the filter holes. Annoyingly time consuming and a royal pain in the a__.

The pitcher itself is slim so it does fit in the fridge nicely. I went back to the old way of making ice tea because this thing does not really save any time.


"Best method to keep a constant supply of fresh iced tea"
This item sparked my interest as soon as I saw it so I bought one and (don't you love it when this happens), it was better than I'd hoped.
I drink iced tea pretty much daily in lieu of soft drinks or fruit aides. I've tried a number of methods over the years to maximize the number of times when I can simply pour a glass from the fridge vs. spending time to prepare before partaking. This is the best solution I've found. Whenever I pour my last glass from the pitcher, I take the short time it takes to add some loose tea to the removable filter and (OK, this makes it easier for me) fill the pitcher half-way from the near-boiling water dispenser at our sink. I set the stove timer for five minutes and go about my business. When the timer goes of, it takes all of 30 seconds to dump the soggy tea leaves down the disposer, fill the pitcher to the top with cold water and replace it in the fridge. One important suggestion: dump the tea leaves as soon as you remove the filter from the hot water. If you set it in the sink to deal with later, the leaves will swell and make it much more difficult to empty. (BTW, I wound up writing this review for the 51-ounce model as I came to the site to order the 102 ounce model. Twice as big is bound to be twice as good, right?)

"Nice, but I wish they were larger."
Great product, but I wish they were bigger. I bought four here at Christmas time. They were on sale for $14.99 each (and "buy three - get one free"). I gave two away and kept two. These are good for just one or two people using. They would not be large enough for a family.

"useful product"
This product is great, especially if you're trying to cut out "bad beverages". I don't bother with tea, I just toss in sliced fruit and a little stevia...fantastic!!!
