What our customer's say!

"Decent Iron, possible problems", **Having to return product**
I bought the above iron last night and immeadiatly started to use it as soon as I got home. The Ultraglide is exactly what the box describes it as and I especially loved the cover for the water resevior.

HOWEVER...

I am having to return the iron because after about an hour, it started dripping, not from the plate, but from the seam in the handle, just at the tip, between the to base wings. At first I thought I just spilled but it kept leaking and got progressively worse. I dont know if this is a typical problem with this iron, (The previous review stated the other user had issues with leaking but she did not specify from where)or if my iron is just a defective product. Its possible that its just a cracked resevior and would be easy to just replace it in the store. This is a good iron for the price, but my review is a warning that if you iron starts to leak, check where it is coming from. This could be more than a one time incident.

Also, a side note: The little slide for selecting the steam levels looks very easy to break, and the base is really not as sturdy as I would have hoped. Just FYI.

Incidently, I went out and replaced the T-Fal with a Rowenta Effective iron that was on sale at another store. I have to say, there are a few features with the T-Fal that I really liked (the resevior cover, the big, blue steam and spray buttons, the cord design) but I am VERY impressed with my new Rowenta. It glides just as well and it actually seems to do a better job with linens, my personal bain, since I can never seem to get them to iron out all of the rinkles completely.

"Really happy", I bought this yesterday after our Black and Decker totally stopped working out of the blue, it was only 6 months old. I wanted to stay in the same $35-$40 price range. This is a little heavier but the wider base makes it really stable. It has an adjust steam valve and glides across clothes. I leaks a little water but not any more or less than other irons I have used. So far so good.
