"Will Not Shatter In Sink" Glass coffee presses are pretty but extremely fragile. After two broken cylinders in two months it seemed insanity to buy any more. After the typical online searching we bought this great press. Not only does it work perfectly, by making delicious coffee, the added bonus is that it is insulated and will keep the coffee warmer much longer than glass models. Our only regret is not buying the bigger size. This one only makes about 2 big cups. Also, it is lightweight and great for camping. Good luck! "Excellent press" I have purchased then returned three presses before ordering and keeping this one. The double wall construction and excellent design make for great cup of coffee. The screen design is of particular note as it's proper fit and ability to keep grounds from getting past ensure no one get a surprise in their last swallow. I do recommend you let the coffee sit for a minute or two after pressing to allow the sentiment to settle out, but this is common in most presses. "Very nice." Perfect for dry camping in our RV. Makes about 4 mugs of smooth, rich coffee, and keeps it hot for at least an hour. Excellent quality and finish. "Better than Bodum" I actually bought this at the store. It is my second one. I have it in 2 sizes. And I love them. As far as I am concerned, it is a far superior to the Bodum. Coffee stays hotter for a longer period of time and always tastes great. And it since it isn't made of glass, it will not break. It is also terrific for my Chai.

Additionally, I was always frustrated that any coffee left in the Bodum was cold within minutes. The Planetary Design fresh press works marvelously to keep my coffee cold upwards of an hour and the design is virtually indestructible. Very nice. "I love this thing", Of the many coffee presses I've bought in the past few years, this is hands-down the best. Not only does it keep the coffee hot for hours, but I have yet to get a mouth full of coffee grinds (as I have with former coffee presses). I love the design. All in all, it was worth the price I paid. I use it every day. It's perfect. An excellent product. "Great French Press!", This is the best french press I've used (several different Bodum & Bonjour models). The double-walled stainless steel insulates well and the press filters extremely well. No coffee ground escapees in my cup at all. Reasonably priced, quick shipping and no broken glass! Makes a great cup of coffee! Would highly recommend. "Simple yet contemporary and effective design", I purchased the twenty-ounce press in the light blue color. While I have not owned a French press in the past, I chose this one on its merits of stainless steel and apparently durable construction. Upon receiving it, I was not disappointed; it is well-made, and more attractive than the picture suggests. The included instructions suggest using a medium grind, but using this, I found a mouthful of grit on my last sip. Granted, I only have a cheap blade grinder, but in any case a coarse grind eliminates this problem. Its double-walled construction keeps the coffee warm, too, so multiple cups can be had from the same brew. "Planetary Designs Double W Thermal 12 Cup French Coffee Press", This is an excellent product. The coffee stays hotter longer in this press, than the glass beaker press.
