"Towels" Much smaller than expected. Good for use to dry your hands, but not great to dry dishes. They are attractive though. "Small Jobs" They are great as hand towels or quick hot pads, but not for drying a bunch of dishes. They are a bit larger than your everyday washcloth. "Too pricey " Now that the price has dropped they would be worth the price. They are nice and if you buy matching pot holders, you can accessorize your kitchen. "Calphalon Black Dish Cloth" The price went down from $6.95 to $3.95.It's very nice looking,you will be pleased with it.Approximately 13 and a half inch square.I was expecting a black cloth loop to hang it from,but the loop turned out to be the sewn in label.That's okay.

What our customer's say! "Sturdy ", The dishcloth is quite sturdy and will probably last forever but...it's difficult to rinse and keep clean. I wipe down the counter and everything sticks to it and won't rinse off. I don't know how most people are but I like to use my dish cloth more than once and these never really seem clean. I used them right away and they bled a little in hot water but I put them through the wash and nothing was stained so no worries there. I'm just not real thrilled with them and would be happier if Amazon carried the Cannon or KitchenAid dishcloths. "Calphalon Terry Dish Cloth Black Licorice", Just like the dish towels the dish clothes are extra thick and should last a long time. Finally a nice set of kitchen dish towels and dish clothes. I'm so glad I ordered them. "They don't absorb water!!!!", I liked the color selection and the attached loop to hang them with. But these towels do not absorb water to any practical degree. I cannot recommend them to anyone, as they cannot perform their primary purpose. "How can a dish cloth not absorb water?", I had looked everywhere for red & black dishclothes and was happy to finally discover these. The color choices are wonderful and they are a bit oversized which is nice, but I bought them as dishclothes and they do not absorb water. At all. I've tried washing them to no avail. Now I have four perfectly colored dishclothes that are basically useless. "Calphalon Terry Dish Cloth", Quality is excellent. They wash and dry very nicely,keeping their shape and texture. This was a good buy.
