"Water Tastes Great" At first this filter put out a lot of black water. I don't know if that is normal but when it cleared it appears to be working just fine. The water now tastes great! I'm happy with the product and the price. "Refrigerator Filter" The second time I replaced our refrigerator filter in my new home. Our new home uses well water. The water and ice taste better than our old home that used municipal water. Installs easy and fits like a glove. "Works as it should" Filters my water well. Easy to install. Not much else to say... "RG-100 or WF1CB" The Ice and Water Filter for our Frigidaire fridge lasted only 5 months for us, when our water from the fridge started tasting weird (chlorine-tasting). Replacing the used filter was also a snap, no tools required. WF1CB is supposed to replace RG-100, which fits all PureSource equipped refrigerators produced after April 2001. It has a rated capacity of 6-9 months, or 400 gallons, whichever comes first. Fits most fridge models, such as: FRS23R3A FRS23R4A FRS23KR4A FRS26R2A FRS26R3A FRS26R4A FRS26KR4A FRS26HR4A FRS26RBB MRSR25V4A MRSR25X8A MRSR25V5A MRSZ28X8A "Very Impressed!" This is, without a doubt, the best water filter we have ever owned. The Frigidare refrigerator it came on is very impressive on its own but the filtered water is a big added bonus.

What our customer's say! "Seems to work as described", I've never really cared if I had filtered water. Tap water was just fine with me. I got a deal on the refrigerator that happened to have the filtered water dispenser. I can taste a slight difference between that and my tap water. However, the old filter I took out looked a little grey instead of white like the new one. So it's obviously filtering something out of the water. "Great Filter", My filter arrived within 5 days and was new as stated. My water tastes good again :) "Pure Source Ice and Water Filter", The Pure Source filter fits correctly and seems to be doing a good job of filtering. The cost about 60% of the price of the original manufacturer filter price that came with our refrigerator. "Happy with fresh water again", Great filter replacement for my refrigerator. The water is tasting great again and the price was the lowest I have seen for this particular model. "yes again", We were well please at the speed in which we got the filter. We will reorder again instead of driving around to find someone that has it. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Ice & Water Filtration System", Some have predicted that the next major war will be fought over something as simple as water. I hardly doubt that anymore with the surge in variety for bottled water and other renovations to a product as simple as a glass of water. The future is in POS (Point of Source) filtration due to it's ease of use for everyone to install a quick filtration unit on their home water taps and then work to remove the impurities from their home water. Having recently moved to a new job, I was impressed by the water filter on my refridgerator which seemed to remove more impurities than the POS filtration system I put upon my kitchen faucet. So, you can imagine my horror when the filter ran the course of it's life and I noticed my drinking water tasting a bit strange. Sadly, none of the local stores would carry this product, but Amazon has always been my next stop for anything I can't find commercially locally. Thankfully, they carry this filter and as this review suggests, I've got no problem suggesting you try this filter yourself. It's a fridge filter, so when your in the market for one, try this filter and see if you can't taste the difference. |
