Others say...
"The best money I ever spent" In more than a year of daily, often heavy use, I have never had a single problem with this cart. In fact, every time I use it, I am grateful all over again for its practical design, sturdy construction, and ease of use. It comes mostly pre-assembled -- just snap on the wheels and roll it away. The plastic handles are easy to grip. The bag is heavy-duty and removable for easy cleaning. The cart will carry anything -- I regularly use it for groceries, laundry, even moving book boxes around. (I have a lot of books.) You can fold it up and tuck it in your trunk or back seat, ready for a trip to grocery or warehouse store. It steers smoothly, and I've never had any trouble walking it up the occasional stairs (one here, two there) I encounter on the way from my car to my apartment. Even fully loaded, it can handle them. A great product in a stylish shade of blue. Who could ask for more? "Great cart, lousy vendor" I've had one of these carts for years, but I was using it only intermittently until about two years ago, when I moved to an apartment with an underground garage and an elevator to the residence floors. I use this every day to move groceries, other shopping items, packages, household items being taken to or from my apartment, and the backpack I use to carry a laptop computer and a bunch of books being taken to or from the library. Sometimes I take the cart into the library so that I can move a bunch of books I want to look at to a comfortable study area. I love this cart, but it's getting worn out. I was going to replace it through this web site, but the vendor didn't ship it on the date that was listed as expected shipping date. It's now several days after the planned shipping date, and they never sent me an update about a changed shipping date. They didn't answer an e-mail I sent, so I called the vendor and they said that cart was backordered. I cancelled the order, because there are other online sources for this cart. So I look forward to having another of these carts, but I won't order from this vendor. "great cart" great cart that can be used for any type of carrying---from groceries to books to newspapers and small logs. "Mommy's big helper" I like to wear my son in a backpack while going about daily chores and going to the local store. Most carts are designed to be pulled behind, which is difficult with a backpack. This cart is great. It's easy to handle, holds a ton of laundry, groceries or Goodwill donations and the top velcros shut to keep loose items inside. And it folds much smaller than traditional grocery carts. "Excellent Cart" I bought the Versat Cart as a gift for my daughter. She is very satisfied with it and rated as an excellent product. She told me that car is helpful, comfortable, strong and multifaceted. She is pregnant and has a two year old boy... this product make easy laundry time and going shopping.

VersaCart
Special offer for you..find the cheapest!
zabaleta from NY, United States offers this stuff for:
What our customer's say! "Absolutely Wonderful", My BEST FRIEND the Versa Cart is absolutely adorable and easy to use. They say it holds heavy weight but I would not use it for real heavy duty purposes. It is great for groceries and the like I can only see one improvement for it to have a solid base in the cart but then it would not be collapseable!!! It is so easy to set up and take down and I leave mine in my trunk of the car so it is always ready when needed. Great for an elderly person that is not real mobile and having alot of strength. It should not be expected to use on stones or uneven surfaces. "Better than those other carts without swivel wheels", I got this for my elderly step-mom who lives in assisted living. She drives to the store for her supplement drinks and other sundry items, but has trouble carrying the stuff to her apartment. She had an all metal, 4-wheeled cart that she used, but the spokes on one front wheel broke after a couple of years. This came just in time for her next shopping trip. She is thrilled to have such a maneuverable cart, and it is easy for her to fold and unfold. Just step on the back locking brace, just like an umbrella stroller. The handles are comfortable and at a good height too. Get yours at zabaleta. Fast shipping and prompt communications from this seller. I ordered the same product at AJ Prindle nearly a week earlier and they arrived on the same day. Plus, when I tried to find out shipping information from AJ Prindle, they could tell me nothing until 4 days after it had already shipped from the manufacturer and of course, they were unable to cancel the order when I requested it, because it had shipped already. They claim that the only way to get the information was by email, through another department. With zabaleta, they sent an email to me the day it shipped (which also shipped directly from the manufacturer). Rather than hassle with returning the one from AJ Prindle, I decided to keep this great item for my mother-in-law, who does not drive. "Good design, bad execution", Loved this cart at first, then the tubular steel by the front wheels began to bend and eventually both front wheels broke off. So I bought another one because I really liked the compact design. After using the brand new one for 2 weeks one of the back wheels cracked and fell off. It is really cheaply made unfortunately, and there is no way you could load it to 100 pounds. Too bad there is not a sturdier "heavy duty" version. I'd gladly pay more for one that was better made. Looks like I'll have to go back to the trusty but bulky "granny cart". "I like it better than the traditional all-metal carts, but.....", I like this better than the traditional metal carts, but it has it's drawbacks... When loaded down, it can be difficult to maneuver the front swivel wheels. Also, the metal frame DEFINITELY needs to be made of stronger, sturdier metal bars. I found that the bars with the handles on them bent slightly over time, and when I collapsed it shut, the little clip that is supposed to clip the two handles together to keep the unit shut wouldn't clip because the bars were not in alignment anymore. After that, the right handle broke off completely. If they would use a sturdier metal, this unit would be perfect. I do love the canvas as opposed to the traditional metal carts, and it even has a velcro lid/cover, pretty nifty... Overall, I would recommend, but it does need improvement, and *don't overload it* weight-wise... UPDATE: 07/24/08. I emailed Versacart and they asked me if icould send a picture of the broken handle. I used my digital camera and emailed them and pic as well as a copy of my Amazon purchase receipt. They immediately Fed-Exed me a brand new Versacart free of charge. I am very impressed about that and really appreicate that they did that, however they really need to improve the strength of the steel bars so that these carts won't break in the first place... "Ramblin' & Rollin' Plant Lady...", Not really a "review"-more like-"putting out feelers"! I work as a "plant technician" or more warmly known as...The Plant Lady and I travel to several clients on a daily basis to care for their office plants. Lugging around the water bucket by hand soon became old especially when my husband gave me the neatest folding laundry/garden cart for my sidekick! Now I can push my cart with my bucket, sprayer, tools, etc and it's great! However, the cart is beginning to show the wear and tear of constantly in and out of the trunk and the rear right wheel sometimes just takes off all on it's own! Fortunately, my reaction time has (so far) been quick enough to keep it all from crashing into someone's desk, for example, drenching it throughly!!! Whew!...Does any kind soul out there know of a really TOUGH folding cart that would suit me better??? I have been able to snap that errant wheel back on and trundle on-for a while. Thanks for reading my sad tale-any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "metal construction broke and poor maneuvering ", When I first received the VersaCart, I was very pleased. However, within a few months (weekly grocery trips), the wheels started to ride on their edges. It was very difficult to push. Then the right front wheel/metal bar curled under and broke off! It was still under warranty, so they sent a brand new one. Unfortunately, the same thing happened, and now I'm looking for a different brand. I don't believe it can easily hold 100 pounds, and it doesn't maneuver well over the occasional bump in streets or on sidewalks. "got our $ worth 100s times over with this cart", We bought this cart (different colored wheels) in 2002 and have used it 4 or 5 times a week since. We even moved apartments partially using one. We regularly abuse it by piling in so much weight (groceries - 6 gallons of liquids plus everything else) and it withstood that. It is also great for laundry. I hardly ever write reviews but I love this item so much I'm making an exception. We finally need a new one since a front wheel is starting to bow, but I am probably not exaggerating to say we've pushed it 50-70 miles in all of our trips to groceries stores (in NYC, where we walk everywhere). "A Handy Cart!", I bought this cart back in August for my elderly mother as her Christmas gift. She needed something to carry her groceries from the car to her home. The cart comes in a long box already assembled. All you have to do is snap on the two front wheels, open it up and it's ready to go. The removeable bag is a nice, heavyweight, water resistant canvas with a cover. The cart moves very easily on carpet. The wheels move in all directions making steering it quite simple and effortless which is very nice for the elderly. I liked it so much I just bought one for myself. It can be used for anything: gardening, laundry, groceries, pick-up caddy, anything! I LOVE IT! I would suggest you buy yours from Amazon from Mr. Sinclair of Zabaleta. He's the best! ![]() |
