" bravo breville" Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt Compact Juice FountainThis juicer is awesome. It made juice out of a raw beet, a piece of raw ginger, 3 carrota and half a lemon and l cucumber in mere moments. It did a better job than my more expensive Vita Mix which could not handle the beet and the ginger. The machine is efficient and powerful and the noise level is bearable. The price ie good. I cannot praise it enough. However, the apparatus must be taken apart and cleaned, immediately after use so that it does not stain, rust, or become caked-on. "Breville Juicer" This is my first Juicer. I have done much research on juicers and many peoples personal experiences. I love this juicer. It is easy to clean and the juice taste good. As for the PUlp there is alot many times...I have yet to do it very frequently. The pulp tastes funny lol:) And bananas and pineapples are best done in the blender lol:) Otherwise great product and fun so far. "Good buy for the money" works great. Does everything it promised. Easy to operate, clean, etc. good buy for the money "AWESOME" I had seen a review for this product in 'First' womans magazine. It was totally worth it and I have recommended it to ALL my friends. "Love it!" first of all, i ordered from here and got it in 2 days! second, i have had this for almost two weeks and love this machine! i have not juiced before, always wanted too but hear juicers were a pain to clean. also, i have a friend with one of the LeLaine power juicers and she complained about the cleaning. so i was apprehensive. got the machine, cleaned it up, found it easy to assemble and use and juiced that first night. it was so fast! juice tasted great and was again easy to clean! it really only took me about 3 minutes to clean the whole thing in a sink of warm soapy water. the pulp remover on the brush that comes with it works great. i use a munchkin bottle brush i had for cleaning baby bottles on the pulp bowl to clean easily. the brush included in the box works really well to get the mesh clean. again i can't say enough. i make fresh juice for my family every day now because it is so easy and easy to clean. i have not experienced any of the issues others have mentioned in their reviews.

What our customer's say! "Great Purchase", Very happy with this item. Powerful machine for the money. I was also surprised by how easy it is to clean. "Breville 900 Juicer", I paid $100.00 for this juicer and it stopped running after I used it 3 times. Unless I fly to the UK there is no one here in the US to repair it. Breville products are not worth the money. "Loving it!!", Loving it!! Breville is totally worth the money. I try to drink fresh carrot, beet & ginger juice couple times a week and getting tired of the high prices, I decided to order my own juicer from amazon. It came in a couple weeks but when I unpacked it I discovered the lid was cracked. But I was able to exchange it hassle-free online. Thats why I love Amazon.com!! The 2nd one arrived in good condition. It can take in whole carrots and i/2 sized beets, apples and whatnot and make fresh juice in minutes!! I guess its the powerful 700-Watt motor. Years ago I used to have an old juicer - I would have to cut carrots length-wise into 4 pieces, it took a long time and it was sooo painful. So I gave up juicing, but now I'm happy that I got this one. Another bonus, the Breville is quite easy to clean, pop the cover, the components come out and you can wash them with warm water and put them back in 5 minutes. Only thing that I disagree with is the description -- I wouldn't call this machine "compact", its more like medium to large sized. But then I feel that the 700-Watt motor is required to crush the whole carrots into juice and the small size requirement isn't tht important. "not quite what i expected", Breville BJE200XL 700-Watt Compact Juice Fountain I had expected the juicer to be more efficient. The biggest problem is that it produces a lot of foam (over 1/4 filling the container that comes with the juicer). I had to stop and clean it after only a small amount of apples and the pulp was much soggier than other juicers i have used. i was so disappointed, i have to admit that i have put it away with all the great fantasies about fresh juice in the morning I had when i purchased it. "powerful and easy to clean", This powerful juicer gets your juice ready in seconds and it is easy to clean. I often use it twice a day and don't mind the cleaning part of it. At the price of a little over one hundred dollars, this one may be the best buy. I sure am happy of the choice I made. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "New to Jucing", I am new to Juicing but this is a powerfull mashine that makes good juice. "Not Australian and Not Compact!", It's a real shame that when we plan to purchase a juicer, there isn't a store that has all the major models and brands lined up for comparison. We are fortunate that at least there's the web where we can check out various sites and reviews. When I began juicing roughly 30 years ago there was very, very little information out there. Of course, we also didn't have to put up with silly Juiceman and LaLanne infomercials! Juicing is a different world now. It's gotten fashionable, even showing up on Martha Stewart. The consequence is that an awful lot of really lousy juicers have come on the market, intended to make a quick buck for someone and then be gone again. We have gone from a very few brands, like the Acme and Champion, to a couple-dozen, and most of them mediocre. Breville came in on the tide of juicing popularity with home models that have received notice for their quality and capability. This is truly in contrast to other multi-line appliance makers (think Braun, Krups, Oster, GE, Sunbeam, etc) whose juicers are best considered jokes. These juicers appear to appeal to those who want something better than the infomercial juicers but who aren't ready for something as serious as a masticating or twin-gear machine. Additionally, Breville has made a point of marketing huge chutes for their machines, actually taking entire pieces of fruit at a time. I have owned more juicers than I can remember, and currently own around a dozen in different brands and types. I thought it was time to try a Breville, as they appear to be so popular and I wanted to discover the reason. I had no intention of spending a price on a Breville that would purchase a top-quality serious juicer. After looking at various models I decided on this 'Compact' model with the thought of possibly taking it on the road with me. First: this ain't no compact. Though it doesn't have a separate pulp container, this machine is fully as large in footprint as the big Acme or Omega centrifugals. Compared to my two other compact machines, the L'Equip Mini and Omega O2, this machine is enormous. It also stands a good 2-3 inches higher on the counter. As I am not familiar with Breville's other models, I can only imagine they are enormous! Any idea that this 'Compact' would travel in a gym bag on the road are gone. Second: I was curious re the 14,000rpm speed of this machine, roughly twice the average pulp ejector's speed. The little Chinese motor truly flies on this machine! As produce is introduced it is flung more violently than any other ejector I've seen. Perhaps as a consequence of its ultra-high-speed rotation, the basket screen on this machine is interesting. It's much finer than any I've seen before, almost a fabric instead of showing distinct visible holes. This is truly neither an advantage or disadvantage; the pulp left in the juice after finishing is roughly the same as the L'Equip and Omega models. A consequence of this speed of rotation is that much more froth is produced. I've had beers with less head than this! The true peculiarity of this machine is that it's a pulp ejector that doesn't eject! The pulp is collected in an integral container surrounding the basket. It's what makes the footprint on this machine so large. It also means that, unlike conventional pulp ejectors with their separate receptacle, one has to stop this machine and empty the pulp container. On a conventional model, one can just dump the receptacle and keep going. Therefore, this machine must be compared to a conventional centrifugal juicer like an Acme or Omega, as they also must be used batch-style. When compared with a conventional centrifugal, this machine comes up short. The big centrifugals rotate at 3600rpm instead of 14,000. The faster rotation not only makes juicing juicy fruits harder, the pulp ejecting design means somewhat less juice is extracted. Obviously, anyone concerned with oxidation of juice wouldn't be buying this machine anyway, would they? I don't juice fruit in a vegetable juicer, so I can't comment on that. I am from the old school where we learned not to mix fruits and vegetables when juicing. I don't know whether the separation is valid, but I eat fruit and juice vegetables. This machine does a quite acceptable job at the standard carrots, radishes, and beets that I juice daily. It appears to do no better or worse than any other machine of this type on leafy greens. At least Breville is honest enough to note in the owner's manual that this isn't the machine for that. If one indeed juices the standard vegetables, particularly carrot and beet, expect discoloration of that stylish smoked plastic. This can of course be cleaned off with bleach or Cascade if it's a real issue. One consequence of a railroad-tunnel-sized feed tube is that produce will certainly try to bounce right out on introduction. A quick hand on the pusher is necessary. Of course, this is yet another juicer made in Communist China. Rather amusing that their ads always show some Aussie chick touting their juicers. Why not an Asian model instead? The ones made in this country are the old reliables: Champion, Acme and Moline. If that's an issue to you. In summary, it seems like a nice juicer, but not a standout when compared to the two equivalent juicers: the L'Equip Mini and the Omega O2. All are good juicers for light to moderate juicing, and for people who don't want to juice many dark leafy greens. "Excellent juicer", I will gladly recommend this Juicer to anyone. I use it for everything; soup, sauces, dressings and of course all the awesome juice concoctions you can think of. This thing is a snap to clean up as well. There are just a few parts you can rinse and throw in the dishwasher. They provide a handy brush for the blade. You will have to empty it in the middle of juicing, if you are making more that three cups of juice, but that is simple enough. It is really powerful device as well. I have used this and the larger more expensive version and noticed little difference in performance, the only difference seems to be a couple added features. I give this thing a A+++++ "Breville Compact Juice Fountain IS FABULOUS...", I've been juicing for about a year and finally decided that the old "HB" that I'd acquired from my son's dorm had to go. I read an article in First Magazine about juicing to help detox the body. They recommended the Breville Juicer. I ordered it and have been using it ever since. There are 6 pieces to clean, but there isn't a problem with any of it. The Breville people include a fantastic brush to clean the grinding plate (the hardest part of the machine to clean) and it works beautifully. For best results, one should dry each part upon cleaning. I love this juicer! It's not SILENT, but it's a lot quieter than my previous juicer. Hint: If you can, recycle the pulp in baked goods (never tried it) or add to your compost pile for enrichment of your garden soil. That makes the entire effort so GREEN! I highly recommend this product. "This juicer is fantastic!", I did lots of research looking for an affordable juicer. Nearly everything I read led me to this one. I am so happy with it. It is easy to use, in fact I use it everymorning before work. Just pop in whatever sounds yummy in the fridge, and voila! It is lovely to look at, in fact it sits on my counter permanently. And most important, it is very quick and easy to clean up. Just a quick rinse and it's done. Couldn't be any happier with it! ![]() |
