"Looks good" The faucet looks good. My only criticism is that it seems to splash a bit. The pull-out feature is very nice and the mechanism for switching from spray to stream works well. You definitely need good water pressure since the restricting mechanism isn't in the parts list and isn't obvious. I thought the Vibrant Stainless would be more trouble free but if you want it to look good, plan on wiping it after the dishes are done. "Love it!" Works great! I love the built in sprayer, very easy to use! Have had many compliments. Would highly recommend. "splashing effect" We recently had this product installed as part of a kitchen remodel project. I love the look and the convenience, but I'm disappointed in the water flow. It produces a splashing effect and I end up with wet countertops and a wet shirt. We've tried to figure out if there is a problem with the aerator, but it looks OK. "Wretchedly bad flow rate" As someone else observed, the flow rate is OK for the spray function, but it's ludicrously bad for the regular flow. I checked twice to make sure that the hot and cold water knobs had been opened all of the way. If I hadn't waited until I'd had it for more than 30 days to install it, I'd return it. "Performs perfectly" The nice height has made dish washing much easier. Pans and coffee carafes fit under the faucet with room to spare. The appearance is rich, too. Since we have a steel sink (vs ceramic) the leverage resulting from a tall faucet does allow some movement (north and south) if it is pushed. Even tho it is not as perfectly rigid as it would be on other sinks, we love it.

What our customer's say! "Quality and stylish", This faucet set is a solid performer. After going through three faucets in five years, I installed this Kohler piece in the kitchen. It is high enough to increaswe the work space in the sink, in fact it feel like I have a new, larger sink; it is not so high as to obstruct the view out the kitchen window. This is a quality product, and should last for years. It replaces a similar style faucet bought at Costco that would not stay on, and before that an Italian fauct which broke the day before Thanksgiving spraying water everywhere. According to the handman, every part of the Kohler is repairable, unlike my prior faucets which were total write-offs. Buy Kohler for quality and save in the long run. Quality product, "Flawless Faucet", Another amazing Kohler product. The height gives plenty of room for those big pots and tall containers. The head easily moves from spray to flow with the push of a button - side to side and not a rubber cap on top! Smooth operating and sleek finish. This faucet is definately a quality product. "better than average, not 5 star... replace the aerator!", there were a handful of reviewers that complained that the water coming out splashes too much. they were correct. The problem is that the aerator doesn't do a good job. I would have rated this a 2 had it not been for Kohler's excellent CS. I called them up and complained and they shipped me a replacement aerator for free. the faucet works much better. I'm really picky so I would say that I've seen better... but it works. in all other regards the faucet is great. the lever has good movement. you can tell you have good hardware and not some $60 costco faucet. I know this because i did have one. the magnet that holds the faucet head is acceptable. i'm not sure what a 'good' one feels like but again, it's better than my cheapo costco one. the spray function could be more powerful IMO but it works well enough. remember that stainless steel doesn't look too hot when dirty. you can see the spots but it's not too bad. "Cartridge fails", I'am on 3 third year with this faucet and so far it has been replaced once for repeated cartridges leaking. The second faucet is now leaking around the base seals. Warranty service is excellent. "Excellent faucet", The Kohler Forte is manufactured with excellent quality control. It is extremely easy to install, looks beautiful, and is very easy to operate. I have Kohler faucets throughout my house with exception of the one my Forte replaced and will stay with their products. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "not pleased with flow rate", I have had this faucet about a month. The flow rate in shower mode is fine, but the regular flow has always seemed less compared to my past faucet. After two weeks of operation, the flow even got worse and has a pulsating effect. It looks nice, but am not that pleased with its operation. "Kohler Forte Kitchen Faucet", Purchased this faucet a month ago and my husband installed it. Said it was easier to install than taking out the old one. I like the high clearance to get large pots and pails under faucet. Overall, very satisfied with this product. "Expensive parts", The faucet worked great until the small plastic button switching the flaw to spray broke. To fix it I have to replace the whole pullout portion witch cost $90. Not bad for a small plastic button. "Beautiful!", Works well, looks good and was easy to install. It is a bit taller than the average faucet. The side button is much better than the one that we replaced (under the rubber cover). You do not have to use the 3 hole cover during installation, there is a single ring mount. "Excellent", Easy to install, really nice and it looks great. The Pullout feature is a good one to have. |
