"Tiny Cups"
If this thing makes four cups of espresso then I'll have to use the dollhouse size cups. There's no way it makes four espresso cups of coffee and my espresso cups were all purchased in Italy. But its really pretty sitting on the stove.

"VeV Vigano Kontessa Inox 4 cup Espresso Maker"
I was introduced to this product in France - my daughter has one. I wanted to get one just like hers, however, I ended up buying the smaller one. It makes great espresso and is very nice looking - I can leave it out on the stove all the time. Cleaning is very simple, as it comes apart easily. If I ever have to purchase another one, I will buy the larger one.

"4 Cup VeV Vigano Kontessa 4 Cup Stove Top"
This is a new way of making coffee for me. It has excellent favor. I am still trying to master the electric stove heat level and the optimum time for brewing. I am now looking for a 6 cup!

"Highly, Highly, Highly Recommended"
I own the 4-cup & 6-cup; without fail, this brand makes the perfect cup of espresso for many years. If you enjoy a rich cup of coffee or rich espresso - don't look any further. It also serves as a great conversation piece. You will enjoy it for many years like I have.

What our customer's say!

"Great stovetop espresso maker", I've been using a cheap aluminum espresso maker forever - the kind your parents probably used. I had issues with the interior corroding and decided to try the Vev 12-cup - and I can't believe the difference. Same beans, same grind - but a completely different taste. I had no idea just switching to a different pot could make such a difference...it really was night and day. Only gripes are that assembling it to get a leak-proof seal seems a little challenging, and although it's labeled 12 cups, I get about 16oz. per brewing.

"NOT THAT GREAT", I orginally purchased this model because I had the chance to handle one in a retail store and it had a good hand feel to it. However after receiving my own pot I was somewhat dissapointed as it doesn't have the same "eye appeal" as the oro(bronze handled) model. I used it to make espresso several times with good qaulity beans but the quality of the finished espresso was rather bad. Apprently I should have purchased the oro model and at least it would have looked nicer sitting up on a shelf. I haven't had any problems with this pot "rusting" in the interior but it just doesn't seem to make good espresso despite the fact that I have been making sepresso for many many years with a number of different pots.

"health safety hazard", given the quality of bean, the Vev Vigano makes a good tasting espresso. parts fit together well and easily. an eye appealing design, the Kontessa looks beautiful on display in the kitchen.

the design flaw in the Kontessa espresso maker is that the tank is lined with non-stainless steel material which easily corrodes. this is not coffee stain; it has the appearance and feel of rust. this rusting occurred even with reasonable care and cleaning including proper drying following each, most often daily use and within the first three months after purchase.

i will not use the Kontessa espresso maker because of its obvious health hazard. i would have returned it to the manufacturer if the process of returning it was less than the expense of purchasing it.

"Carole", Very good coffee maker. I enjoy drinking it every morning.

"stainless steel is the way to go", this coffee maker is gorgeous, and you won't believe how much better the coffee tastes without the aluminum overtones, (and Alzheimer's)! I'm buying one for all my coffee drinking children as well.
