"Great product", Its an amazing product! I used to hate ironing but now I sort of look forward to it:)

This steamer has cut my ironing time by at least one third. The clothes look great too.

On the flip side: You have to wait till it gets really hot or you may have some sprinkle of water on your clothes.

"Rowenta replaced product", Product initially spit,spotted, and reservoir literally vibrated if turned on within a few minutes of previous use. Returned product and within 3 weeks, upon following up with a phone call, the product was replaced. Replacement MUCH better, but still occasional spotting.

"Good iron, but is it safe", It's really performancewise a great iron. Ours however failed on the first day with the steam switch stuck in the open position causing a burn.

After cooling off and turning the iron on again, the switch was still stuck, the iron was blasting steam again. I believe that is a serious safety issue and a design error. Rowentausa support wasn't too interested, so I returned the device to Amazon.



"Excellent Steam Iron", I wear a lot of linen fabrics in the warmer months of the year, and this steam iron makes ironing a breeze; it is quick and easy. I have not tried it as a steamer yet but I am sure it will do an excellent job of that also. Kudos to Rowenta!

"Speed Ironing! ", I love this iron as it cuts down the time by about 1/4. Steam lasts for about 10 shirts. I would buy this again although there are a couple things I would like to see changed.
-The heat dial is too close to the handle. I keep bumping it and turning down the iron.
-It doesn't appear to get as hot (or maybe doesn't have as much steam) as the Tefal make, but I couldn't find one here in CAlifornia
-Would be nice to have a gauge or be able to view how much water is left.
These are things I can live with. Besides, I haven't seen many other companies offering this iron for this price.

"Great Steam Iron", I ordered one and it did not work. Sent it back . I despertly needed this type of iron for my childrens clothes business. The one I received is great. It does every thing I thought it would . Thanks. There is a few things you have to learn about it. Rowenta will send you a free cd

"Better than a steamer.", I quit ironing because it really did not help much. I did not like rolled up collers on shirts so I bought a steamer 6 years ago. Recently the steamer broke. I replaced it with a steam iron. There is no comparison. This works so much faster. The shirts look like they came from the cleaners. It also works for drapes, sheets and other large items. I would definitely buy one again.

"excellent product.. makes ironing a breeze", This is an excellent product. your clothes look like they just had a professional rendered them. It makes ironing a breeze. Once you fill the tank with water, it needs about 8 min to get ready and then you are ready for atleast 30 min of ironing. I cut down my ironing time by 50% and the effort is reduced to minimal as the steam does the work.

if you have a lot of ironing to do which requires over 40 min, you may want to break it in two rounds as once the tank is empty , it will need some time to cool down as you just can't open it and refill it with water as the tank would be very hot and dangerous to open while the iron is hot.

Love the product and recommend it.

"Press Iron", This product has saved me time with ironing. The only draw back is it takes some time to warm up so I try and plug it in before I shower and its ready when I get out. It only takes about 15minutes to warm up. Me with two small kids and a husband I can't explaine how much time its saved and the results of the iron and how it presses is excellent.

"Rowena pressure iron and steamer", My new Rowena iron is really fun to use and does a great job getting the wrinkles out. Even my husband tried it out and actually enjoyed ironing his jeans, something I have never seen happen before. The steam is really powerful and does a great job and garments took great afterwards. My only annoyance with the iron is that the tank that holds the water does not have a window, so it is hard to know how much water is left in the iron. That is annoying because it takes 7 minutes to warm up the and if you warm it up for 7 minutes and then don't have enough water, you have to wait for it too cool down before you can add more water. I have been putting a stiff piece of paper in the tank hole and pulling it out to see how much water is left, kind of like a dip stick. Hey, it works. It also is hard to know how much water to add and easy to add too much and have it spill out over the side. But these are small annoyances for a really great iron. It does hold a lot of water and you can iron for a long time before you need to add more water. I think the booklet says one and one half hours of ironing steam in a full tank.
