"Easier to use than the other kind", I mounted this crusher to a board much like shown in the pictures associated with this product. It's quite stable that way, and so I'd recommend same to anyone else.

What I like about this thing is that it's less noisy and requires less effort than the type of can crusher that presses down on the top. Plus it doesn't need to be pre-dented. It also doesn't need to be mounted to a wall.

"Finally Broke After 20 Years", I'm ordering a new one as both pivot pins sheared this weekend. I like it because it doesn't have to be mounted. It doesn't work quite as well on Coor's cans as they are a smaller diameter than other beverage cans.

"It works", My only complaint it that it's a bit pricey compared to other gadgets that do the same. I spent the money anyway because I really didn't have a good place to mount a crusher and this is the only one I could find that works on a table top and doesn't have to be mounted. A nice side benefit of not having it mounted, and the fact that there are no metal parts that can rust, means that when my husband has been using it on cans that have not completely dried out and it gets all sticky I can just run it through the dishwasher.
