What our customer's say!

"Nice knife!", This is a very nice looking knife and it is really sharp. The handle was a little larger than I was expecting but overall I like how this knife feels and looks.

"An excellent all around Knife that slices everything with easy.", The Seki blade has a sharpness that is on par with a razor. It is slightly thicker than a Four Star but only by a little less than 1 mm at the top. However, it seems lighter and thinner a tribute to the craftsmanship of the makers ability to hone down a blade so gradually that it seems the blade is a fine surgical scalpel. The blades dual sharpened edge has held up very well over the past week having used it on bananas, beets, bread and beef, as well as many other items in between. I definitely recommend this knife at $20 to $30, and even at the suggested retail price.

"It's gorgeous!", This knife is gorgeous! It's really to pretty to use, but I have used it and it's a joy! It's ultra sharp and quality through and through. I love it! I love just looking at it! I bought it after I purchased the 4" paring knife and saw how nice it was. Now I might get them all. It would be nice to have a block for them.

"value for money", you get what you pay for but a bit more..... it is sharp! but not as sharp as my Shun classic. The wood handle is quite nice with a 'D' grip. however, the oil is gone after a few washes. the plastic black part that joins the handle actually allows water to seep, so dry throughly. I paid $20 for it.... and for that price it is worth every penny.

"Wow!", Fantastic! Great deal on this baby.

The wood is much darker than it appears on the pictures. It has a lovely red color and is very hard. The handle is not oval, as it may first appear. It has a right-handed bias. This knife is the perfect weight, excellently balanced.

Boy, it's sharp, too. The knife has a European edge on it(sharpened on both sides), even though it is made in Japan. It is a joy to use. It has quickly become my favorite piece of cutlery. I am glad I bought two while they were so cheap! Slices meat like (truely) a razor blade or scalpel.
