"One Thing to Remember", Love this size and color, but it is not good for anything with a metal handle due to the potential of the ceramic chipping or breaking. I use this to hold anything wooden or rubber. I put my metal utensils in a steel container.

"You can even bake in it!", This crock is fantastic! We're using it for our (extensive) collection of utensils in combination with the smaller crock also available through Chantal. We were pleased to see this can be used in the oven, microwave and is dishwasher safe. It's the perfect vessel for our Russian Easter Bread to be baked in!

"It is what it says: LARGE!", WOW! this is the largest utensil holder I have ever seen. I'm going to get another one in red and a smaller one for those smaller for those shorter utensils. I have the green one and it is beautiful. This utensil holder says large and it is really large, so large that I have over 25 utensils in it and still have room. It is best suited for those longer utensils such as wooden spoons, 12" tongs, whisks, spatulas and many others. The little shorty utensils will get lost in this big boy. No worry about it tilting over because it's heavy and sturdy too . If you're looking for something to hold all of your utensils and you have the countertop space then get this one, you will not be disappointed. I can hardly wait to get another one. Now I don't have to keep my utensils in several drawers, I can keep them right on the counter for easier access. It's worth the money and should last a very long time. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend the Chantal 3 1/2 quart utensil holder to any one who likes to keep their everyday cooking utensils right at their fingertips.

"Really, really big!", Measure carefully! I thought I had, but this was much too large for the space I had available. Had to return.
