"Cold Water Dispenser quit after 6 months, Replacement was bad, too"
Bought this in November at Target and the cold water dispenser suddenly stopped working one day the following April. The cooling cycle would run but no water could be dispensed. And the cold water dispenser was slow to begin with...Hot dispenser worked great!

So I took it back to Target and they gave me a replacement of the exact same model. Got home, set it up and the cold water dispenser on the brand new replacement barely flows any water at all. I'll be taking it back, hoping for a full refund.

Seems like the valve/pump/compressor on these things are bad.

Don't buy this unless all you need is a hot water dispenser and some extra storage!

"Broke after 5 months"
I was very happy with this cooler for the first 5 months. The hot water and cold water functions were as expected. And then the cooling mechanism became defective. It was always running, whether or not the water was already sufficiently cold or not.

The only consolation was that the company had a 1 year warranty and relatively hassle-free, money-back procedure.

I bought this cooler from Target it only lasted 6 month the water started tasting really bad and it wasn't cooling the water, I tried cleaning like they told me with white vinager and the water still taste bad and the cold water stopped working all together, its to late to return it so I wasted my money. Wished I had read the reviews here.

I was told to sent the cord,manual,sticker off the back,and the bill.

I also bought this water cooler from Target. After 5 months of working properly, one day it just wouldn't dispense any cool water. No water would come out from the cool side (cold or warm). The hot water works fine still, but I bought this item to use both options. This is the second Hamilton Beach water cooler that I've purchased with the same result. I will never purchase another Hamilton Beach product again. If you want a long lasting quality product, I would not recommend this product.
