"Convinent item for small spaces" 1) Good for small or large space. 2) Tray is really convenient and comfortable 3) The pair is really of great value - I was able to use the child ottoman comfortably to work on my laptop. 4) The color is not stark brown as might appear in the photograph, but its a light brown; if seen in a dim light one might see them as stark black color - it happened to me when I unpacked it in a little day light in my room. 5) Both are easy to move around 6) Tray has a strap to pull out the tray - very convenient and thoughtful design. 7) The large ottoman can be used for storage purposes though it won't hold a large item but will be very useful to store the newspapers etc. 8) If one pay attention then one can observe that the hight of both the ottoman is so perfect to make a foot rest or for additional seating. 9) Well, a great value for the price and the price was also great. --AKK "You get what you paid for." Got the product promptly. Looks great from the outside. Looks like it's sewn right.But frame was so light. It feels just like a cardboard. The inner liner looks so cheap and the one I got, one side was loose. Looks like they forgot to hammer it down. And yes, there's this strong smell but hopefully it will just fade in time. In summary, it looks good but I don't think it will last few weeks. "A great deal!" I was very satisfied with this buy! The material is good quality and seems durable if not mishandled. I was prepared for a smell but there was none. It was a perfect choice for the extra seating & storage I was looking for. "Ottoman" Great value. Easy to move around for extra seating. Bonus storage in the larger one. BUT. . .beware the smell inside the storage compartment. Even after airing outside and spraying with an odor neutralizer, their is still a noticeable "synthetic" smell which makes me wonder if it is "off gassing" something I wouldn't want to be exposed to frequently. And I don't really want a blanket that I might pull up to my chin to smell like that. "Just right!" These cube sized ottomans are just as advertised. They are a lovely deep dark brown, and although they don't weigh much, they do the job nicely. The storage cube is great for use to store games and odds and ends and I could see how the tray could come in handy sometime. The smaller ottoman works well in front of our love seat. We are very happy with the purchase.

Contacted Amazon and the title was changed to: Global Distinctions Buy-One-Get-One-Free Inside Ottoman Set, Brown Advised this is mis-leading advertising and I only ordered because it was Buy one get one free. Customer Service agreed and I received a second set promptly. Today I received an email advising it was a replacement set for the first! I must return the first set or be billed for the item again. Contacted Customer Service and the rep did not understand...I am not happy with Amazon at his time!! "great value", Item is exactly as described. One foot pad was nailed on in such a way that the nail was bent and pulled out of the pad so the pad had to be glued on. It was a flaw that was easily remedied and since it's on the bottom of the ottoman, it doesn't show. "Needs improvements", I don't like these ottoman so much. The big one, cushions is not thick enough over the rim of the base. Hurts the legs while sitting on it. The little one, will not support anyone over 200lbs. It wobble when I sit on it, I weigh about 190lbs. Neat idea, just need to work out some details to make them better. The brown color is a little darker than I thought it would be, but they still look nice. No problems with shipping. Read this reviews before You buy... "Horrid, Permeating Smell that does not go away!", My hubby bought 2 of these one year ago. The smell permeated the room. Not sure if its varnish or paint or just some other kind of toxic waste that these ottomans were saturated in before shipping. Anyway, after one week of hoping the smell would go away, I threw em out the door into the weather and for one year they sat outside as occasional tables near the pool. Well, the smell has cleared some, but as soon as I open the lid, there it is! That toxic smell wafting through the outdoor air! Ewww yuck. I've tried them for one year and they are finally going to the dump! Save the Landfills, Don't buy these! "Best Value and Quality for this item. See PROS and CONS below:", If you don't wish to sacrifice quality too much for price, then this brand ottoman is for you. We use the small ottoman for propping up our feet and the larger one for storing our baby girl's books and toys. We have owned this ottoman for nearly a year and are very happy with it. PROS: 1. "Great product!!", I bought this ottoman because I didn't want it to take up much space and I wanted a place to put my drinks and also rest my feet. This was the perfect ottoman. The smaller one can stow away in the bigger one and you can either have two Ottoman's or one drink table and a ottoman or stow the smaller one away and have one Ottoman or one drink table. It's perfect. "Very pleased, little to no ordor", Based on other reviews I was concerned that this ottoman's ordor would make it difficult to use in my bedroom. However, the odor was very mild and unnoticable after a few days. They must have fixed the problem that others experienced earlier. I'm very please with this unit. It's very comfortable and functional. "I got my money's worth!", I bought two of these because the price was great. They are sturdy and very versatile and practical. I use the small one as a foot stool. It is the right heighth, but it would be nice if it was a little wider. The large one is a great tray table. I haven't stored anything in them yet, but they look perfect for storing throws or pillows or magazines in the future. There are only two things that are disappointing...they had a strong chemical smell and had to get aired out for several days before being able to use indoors. The second thing is that they are made in China. I am trying to stay away from those products, personally. |
