"works well but could be faster "
This 8GB SDHC memory card works well with my digital camera, camcorder, and a few readers/writers. I did not have any compatibility issues and no reading/writing errors as well. Writing speed is in range of 4-5MB/s with average (for large file) about 4.25MB/s and reading speed is about twice that. Writing about 8GB to this card takes about 30 min and reading about 20 min. I expected better writing and reading speeds from this class 6 SDHC card. However, this speeds are sufficient for major use of this flash card to store images and video from camera and camcorder. It does what it was designed to do!

"Saving my data"
In these modern times, computers with windows & hard drives are wonderous miracles, but some of our computers crash, & since these little memory chips can remember for at least ten years, we can now save our favorite little programs, & data, that could be easily lost.
If we overload our computer & we must do recovery, that will only erase the C drive, and the memory chip is safe from recovery.
Cd's are also great for saving files, if kept in a safe place, but a scratch may destroy what you were saving.
If your computer has a place for memory chips, then great, but many have a USB port, you can get a card reader, & begin to save anything that you dont want to loose, on a little memory chip like this one.
This 8 GB Transend, was reasonably priced. They are not only good for pictures, but data also, & you have no problem to edit any files that you wish.

"good, easy, and cheap?"
I got exactly what I wanted -- a simple way to take video and quickly upload it to my computer. I was surprised and delighted to see how easy it is to take video from the TV, and play it back through the TV. The quality is good -- much of the time I don't need high res video. And the price was right, coming in under $175 for both the recorder and 8 GB of Transcend memory.

"Great value!!"
Works great, bought three of these to use with my Xacti Hd1000. Great value, plenty fast for shooting 720p / 1080i video. Can get three or four of these on amazon for the same price as just one "brand name" card at the big stores.

"Amazing card for the price!!!"
I honestly couldn't believe that they had this big of a card for such a low price! Great speed, great performance. Works flawlessly with my Canon Powershot SD750

What our customer's say!

"Huge storage for my Digital Camera", I have a Canon Powershot (this works in both SD1000 & SD1100) and this works like a charm in there. At standard 640x480 it says it registers more than 9,999 shots...

Didn't work with my older laptop's SD card reader, but a $6 USB card reader adaptor solved that (definately recommended).

Love the number of shots that fit on this & will fit about an hour of movie taken on the camera too. Can recommend this without any hesitation.

"Great Card", I have 3 of these cards - I am storing my CD collection on them in ape format. I have had no problems with the Transend cards and they work well in my Cowon D2.

"Great Product Stellar Price", WOW, I ordered two of theese cards for my new Canon HF Vixia 100 HD Camcorder, they work flawlessly! I was reluctant to purchase these cards because some folks report problems with read/write errors. I wonder if this is a "user problem" or truly a manufacturing defect. In the end I purchased them because for 12.00 per card VS. 49.00 for the Sandisk, i figured it was worth the chance...so far I am laughing all the way to the bank :).

"Mega memory", Fantastic value for the cost. I can put so much stuff on this SD card. Great companion for a PDA.

"Fast card...!! noticed rightaway", I noticed the different on start up (from off to shoot) of my camera after changing to use this 2.0 class 6 memory card!
I recommend it to anyone :)

Note: Some older laptops may need a special driver (can be downloadid from the laptop manufacturer) to be able to read the card on windows.

"May work for sum but not for me!", i ordered 2 of these for my hd camcorder , first i formated the card with my camcorder then within maybe 3 or 4 min of footage it said memory full. so i took it out and put it back in and tried once more this time my camcorder hangs up within a few min wont even shut off i have to take the battery out . in disbeleif i tried maybe 15 times all with the same result. so i thought maybe it was just this particular card. i tried the other one and the same problem happened again with my camcorder hanging up and i have to take the battery out. now you may ask well it's something to do with my camcorder , well i know it's not i have a class 4 sandisk sd card 2gb and it works in the camera flawlessly and i know my equipment will support up to 8gb sdhc. so my conclusion is maybe it will be ok on my digital camera i don't know. but i beleive it's going to work for some people and not for others. i'm dissapointed seemed like a good deal. maybe like i said it will work in my digital camera but i originally wanted this for my camcorder, so i'm upset. next time sandisk!

"Great for Photos", I have two of these for my Canon XSI DSLR. They hold a ton of pictures and they have no problem with copying the data over then reformatting them over again and again.

"It's done all I needed it to do", It's funny how little we think about a memory card yet without it we'd have no digital pictures. This one has done every thing a memory card should do; saved photos until I uploaded them to the computer. It's bigger than I need for my Canon XSi even shooting in RAW but it was perfect for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5A when shooting HD videos. And if it means anything, I bought two.

"Fast and large!", This is a great card. I haven't had any issues with this. It is fast, and hold a HUGE amount of pictures. In large JPG (12.2 mp) on a Canon XSi I can hold over 1200 pictures!!! Im going to run out of computer memory before I run out of card memory! Don't doubt yourself on this purchase, you will enjoy it!!!

"Card locked up and lost pictures", I bought this card due to the price, I have never had any problems with an SD card before and I have had about ten. I had a problem with the card one time but I was just playing around with my camera. I formatted the card and it seemed to work fine. But then when I was taking pictures of something important, it did it again and I had to recover the pictures. I dont want to have to keep recovering the pictures or risk losing pictures I take. Definite Return. I have never posted a review before, but had to after this bad experience.
