"Great bins. A little too expensive though."
These are great bins. The only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because it's $50 for 3 bins!! What really urks me is that Wal Mart has these exact same for $10 each. Only they are grey and I am picky about the coloring. I bought a set of these here with a $25 gift card so I wouldn't feel guilty about paying so much. Well, my wife and I love to recycle everything possible, so we want to get another 3. Just got another $25 gift card so it's justified again....I guess.

These bins are really great though. The lids have managed to stay open most of the time, but they are thin plastic that holds them up so I don't forsee it working forever. Like other reviews, the green is not so neon like in the picture. In fact, these bins are very attractive and I'm proud to display them in the garage. They really do hold a bunch of cans, milk jugs and glass, but not so much cardboard boxes. So it's a great product if you can justify spending $50. If not, check your Walmart in the bin section for some grey ones w/ black tops.

"great product, some hassle"
When my shipments of bins (I ordered two kits) arrived there were lids missing. I contacted amazon and they said that they could do nothing except have me ship these two giant boxes back to them and have the entire order re-shipped. I finally got to talk to a supervisor and he was willing to give me the number for Suncast. After talking to several different people at Suncast (the first person couldn't even find the product in the system) I finally got thru to someone who said that they would ship needed parts immediately. the product is great, and when I got thru to the right person at Suncast, she was very helpful but overall it was quite a hassle and took a lot of my time.

"Perfect fit!"
These bins are heavy plastic, the lids open easily and are wide enough to fit bigger items like milk jugs, orange juice, etc. without taking the top off. They fit easily in a small space of our garage and then transport easily to the car since they're already compact. We LOVE them! Highly recommend purchasing !

"BB in NC"
I am pleased with the Suncast recycling bins. They stack nicely. The lids do squeak but mine are in the garage so it doesn't matter. Sometime the flip lids do not stay open long enough. The colors are bright and cheerful. I had wanted a 20 gallon bin but the 18 gallon ones are working out just fine.


"Just what I was looking for..."
These were just what I had in my head: something for sorting recyclables that stacks, has lids that close or stay open, and are easy to carry when full. Shipping was superfast, too. The only reason I didn't give these the 5th star was because one week after I received them, I found the very same product by the same manufacturer at the hardware store at 25% less the price. The only difference was that the hardware store version didn't come in these lively and bright colors.
