"Wow! Crave did a great job with this game." Great graphics. Good choice of tables. Excellent physics. This game is a bargain. It has displaced Smash Brothers at our house as the game to play. I hope Crave does more Wii pinball. "Took me back" Very fun game. Just the sounds of these games brought back lots of memories of hanging out in the arcade. "This is real pinball!" Playing some of the earlier generation pinball machines (Jive Time especially) brought back the memories of wishing I had an endless supply of quarters. Now that my wish has come true, I can say I never get tired of playing! It's so addictive and so close to the real thing, I can only attempt to describe how real it is. The ability to bump the table using the controllers is absolutely essential to getting the score you need to unlock the other tables. I love all the machines with their classic sounds and action. Jive Time is such a brutally simple and difficult machine to master, with its primitive bumpers and lack of sound effects - brings me back to the days of losing my allowance to these machines. Finally a game I can beat my kids at, having years of pinball experience, they have a lot of catching up to do to be dear old dad. "Best of the Best for all Pinball formats" Not only is this the best of the best for every single Pinball variety game that I have played, this is also my favorite game for the Wii. Endless hours of fun and entertainment. "If you like pinball, this is a bargain" I enjoy pinball, but most video game reproducations don't do it justice. This one does. You get a number of great Williams games. I've never been a huge fan of Pinbot, but Taxi, Whirlwind, and Funhouse are absolute classics. The physics are great. I even got a ball stuck once, just like at the arcade. I don't have a lot of time to play with my Wii, but this game has had me make time as much as any game ever has. Get it.

What our customer's say! "Just like at the arcade", My husband and I used to spend our evenings at the local arcade back in the late 80's when we first got married. As a young military couple, we had no money and lived in a small town with little entertainment. We could take a roll of quarters to the arcade and spend a few hours playing pinball. This game brought back so many memories of those "good ole' days". The machines are so life like! We were both impressed with how it reacts and all of the features that are just like the originals. My dad (also a pinball junkie,) purchased his own Wii system just to have this game. He figured that it was cheaper and took up less space than even one pinball machine. If you loved the pinball of old, this game is a MUST! I just wish some of the other makers would release their titles on Wii also! Come on Gotlieb and Bally, get on board!! "please don't tell me there's a better pinball game", Because I would not believe you after playing this game. It is an absolutely stunning game in regards to the visuals (via the Wii HD Link Component Cable) that are beautiful, great sounds with hilarious soundbytes and a overall gameplay that makes fantastic use of the wii-mote and numbchuck. Definitely pick this one up as it's cheap and brutally fun to play. Adventure Mode is even a blast, getting through all ten levels can take a bit but is very doable. Enjoy! "Must-have game if you vaguely enjoy pinball", I can't overstate how much fun this game has been for me. Williams Pinball Hall of Fame has seen more hours of play on my Wii than any other game. These ten nearly perfect reconstructions of real pinball machines combined with the Wii controllers are well worth the cost of this game. Although I haven't played this game on any other game system, I can't image the controllers on the PS3 or Xbox 360 can live up to the Wii experience with this game. "Re-playability +", This game is like owning 10 full size pinball machines packed into a tiny CD. I guess that "bag of holding" in D&D, growing up wasn't too far from mythical.... I own the wii version Yeaee wii! "Back to the 80's", If you enjoyed pinball in the 80's (probably the 70's and 90's as well) I think you will love this game. Having played some of the tables years ago, this is the most 'real' feeling pinball simulation we've played. They took good advantage of the wii controllers, and using them to simulate hitting the table works great. Maybe some of the tables dont tilt as easily as they do in real life. The 'challenge' mode is fun in that it brings another level of a game/challenge aside from just individual tables. I wouldn't mind more things like that. The 'view' can take some getting used to - there are a few settings, we prefer 'smart cam 1'. You can find pictures of actual tables on line, which can be helpful. Although the graphics are good/realistic - you just can't look at the table as you can in real life. They've done such great work on this I hope it is a huge success so they will put out another game with more tables! I think this is a great value. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Brings back memories.", Being a pinball fanatic in my teen years, this game brings back those memories. Very fun to play and the graphics are top notch. Overall well worth the money. "Ah, the good old days", Back in college, my friend worked at an arcade. They had plenty of video games, but I spent hours and hours on the pinball machines. Now I have this Pinball Hall of Fame collection from Williams for the Wii which has a lot of the same pinball machines I played when I was younger. Not only that, but the sounds are all recreated in their full old skool glory - nothing enhanced, remastered or any of that. Fun House, Pinbot, Whirlwind and Taxi are the highlights for me, but the tables are all great. All the tables have multiple sets of goals that help you unlock new tables. And the Williams Challenge - man oh man. I've only made it all the way through once. All in all, this game faithfully recreates the look, feel, and playing experience of all the pinball machines you loved in your youth. At its bargain price, this game is more than worth it. It hasn't left my Wii since I got it. "Great blast from the past, I love it.", I got this game on a deal on Amazon thinking it might be fun. Much to my surprise, two of the pinball games I had played as a teenager. Now I am addicted to Taxi and Whirlwind. Many hours of fun if you like pinball games. I just wish it remembered the way I like to view it instead of having hit hit a few remote button after play begins to see the full view not the scrolling screen. A+ in my book. "Simple, but fun game", This game is all about Williams pinball machines. It's probably what you'd expect -- the machines are all laid out within a virtual arcade, and features expand as meet the goals set for each table. There is an explanation for each table that clearly outlines all of the table's goals and how to achieve them, including exactly how much points each trigger is worth. In short, this game was certainly with the low price! "This is the BEST!", Just like playing the real thing. Well, I can't imagine it could get any better on a tv screen. |
