"Totally addictive!" I had never tried Chai tea before ordering these Chai tea latte discs. After one cup, I was hooked! I'd say this tea reminds me a bit of gingerbread in the taste and aroma. The fragrance is wonderful and makes my whole kitchen smell yummy, too. One caution, I thought this would be a good before-bed hot drink, but I think it may have caffeine in it, since I felt pretty alert after having a cup of it. Totally delicious!!! "A good drink, but rather spicy" I enjoyed the Chai Tea Latte, but it was quite spicy and gave me heartburn. I am a bit afraid to try it again, so I will not be purchasing this product in the future. For those who enjoy Chai Tea, though, I expect it would be really great. "T-Disc problems" I consistently get grounds in my cup if I run any extra water thru the disc. I've had them replaced and it still happens... we like to run the disc thru twice and, so far, this is the only disc that has this flaw. We run other teas and coffees with extra water with no issues. We've got our unit since 12/05. "Totally yummy!" I bought this product at about 10a in the morning. My husband and I drank all 8 cups by dinner time. We totally loved the taste. It smells wonderful. My husband described it as tasting like a liquid pumpkin pie. I can't think of a better description. Sweet, creamy and somewhat spicy. I can't say enough good about this. Will be buying this for a long time to come. Yum!! "Yum!" I can't agree with the first review. I really, really like the Chai Latte. I was super excited when I saw they were going to add this to the Tassimo line-up, and I was not disappointed.

What our customer's say! "Tastes like a pumpkin spice latte!", Found this flavor at Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm not one for teas, usually, but the Tassimo has opened a whole new world of tea-drinking to me. I decided to be a little adventurous and try this one out. I enjoyed this flavor quite a bit... like most Tassimo flavors using their ultra-pasteurized 2% milk pods, you'll either love or hate the drink because of the milk. Also, I have a real sweet tooth and this drink did not disappoint in that regard, though it might be too sweet for a lot of people. Cloves and cardamom are well-represented in this drink, though the cinnamon and ginger were a little overpowered by the sweetener and the milk. To me, it smells and tastes a lot like a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, only sweeter and less bitter (yes I know one is tea and the other is espresso). For those of you terrified of sucralose (SPLENDA), you should know the tea contain it as a sweetener. I personally don't buy into all the paranoia, but I just thought I'd throw that in. My girlfriend is a self-professed "Splenda detector" and hates it, but she didn't notice. For those of you having trouble with grounds in your drink, try changing your piercing mechanism? The piece can be replaced for $9.99 on the Tassimo website. ... Just my suggestion. "YUCK", VERY sweet. I bought 2 boxes and threw them away. I could not finish one cup. "Doesnt taste like Chai should", I really like other coffee's and hot chocolate available for the tassimo system so I bought the chai latte discs - and I was dissapointed. The chai is overpowered by a syrupy flavor. If you're looking for a great cup of chai, dont pick this one. If you love synthetic tastes, this is the one for you. "Nothing Special", After reading all the great reviews posted here, I had to try the Chai Tea. What a disappointment! This product is nothing special. I have had better Chai tea from a teabag, which cost much less!!!!! Unless you are hooked on gadgets and don't have time to microwave a cup of water for tea, save your money and buy a good Chai tea mix and milk. The latte disc didn't foam up very much at all, so I was left with a cup of mediocre Chai tea with a lot of warm milk. This product is also very sweet. "Creamy, Spicy, and Yummy", If you don't like creamy, spicy, and yummy drinks you probably wouldn't like it. Just purchased the Tassimo and this t-disc is really awesome. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Tassimo - Gevalia Chai Tea", I was disappointed in the lack of flavor in this tea. I won't purchase it again. |
