"Great fan!" I love this little fan! I use it next to my bed! It fits nicely on my bedside table and still leaves room for my clock and a lamp. The flow of air is great and it is pretty quiet. I haven't used it with the clip part of it. Definitely worth the price! "Great little fan" Much, much nicer than the usual desk fan. I purchased one of these for my desk at work since everyone there cranks the heat up and I can't breathe. It doesn't take up much room and can just sit on your desk without the clip. I keep mine on low (2 settings) and it isn't very loud but makes a great breeze. I'm buying a second one for the bedroom for those SoCal nights coming up soon that aren't hot enough for AC but a nice breeze would be nice.

What our customer's say! "COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!", This little fan arrived just in time for a triple-digit-temperature heat wave in Los Angeles. I don't have air-conditioning at home, so I need something to keep me cool while I sit at my desk -- and the Clip Stik Desk Fan works great. The fan is effective within a distance of 3 feet. There's a high and a low setting, both of which are pretty quiet. And, when used without the removable clip, it takes up very little desk space (4"D x 3-3/8"W x 10-1/2"H). Using the clip frees up even more desk space -- I can securely clamp the fan to the shelf of my computer desk. The arm of the clip attachment is adjustable at 3 different points: the elbow has 180-degree mobility, and both ends (where the arm attaches to the fan, and where it attaches to the clip) swivel from side to side. The rubber "teeth" on the clip prevent it from slipping, and protect the wooden surface of my shelf. Warning: Though the instruction manual cautions that the clip is stable clamped to a flat surface that is between 1/4" and 1-3/4" thick, I've got it attached to a 5/8"-thick shelf and I really don't think it would hold the weight of the fan on anything much thinner. The only negative thing I can think of is that the fan only cools an approximate 6"-wide area (side to side). But, unless you plan to move around a lot at your desk, this shouldn't be a problem.* If you're looking for a highly effective fan that offers both a small footprint on your desktop and the option of a clamp, the versatile Lasko Clip Stik Desk Fan is a terrific choice. * My husband uses Lasko's 4000 OSCILLATING Air Stik Ultra Slim Fan. Though it doesn't have the clip feature, it oscillates from side to side, cooling a much wider area. Additionally, it has a farther, 6-foot reach. As with the Clip Stik, it's whisper-quiet, great-looking, takes up little table-top space, and works exceptionally well: Lasko 4000 Oscillating Air Stik Ultra Slim Fan "COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!", The little fan arrived just in time for a triple-digit-temperature heat wave in Los Angeles. Upon receipt, I set-up the fan and waited for the coolness to hit me. It never happened. Even at the highest speed the unit couldn't even put out enough air flow to move the loose papers on my desk much less provide relief from the heat for me. Nice concept but it doesn't work; I'm still miserably uncomfortable. It's back to the drawing board for me. "I've become a fan of a fan", Perfect fan for cubicle space/office use. Quiet, yet moves plenty of air without blowing papers all around. Very versatile; can be set up/attached almost any where or in any way. Nice "office furniture" too; doesn't even look like a fan. Seems well made and durable; sensible engineering. Looking forward toward many years of happy use. "Desk Fan", I owned this item for two years and when I retired I made the mistake of giving the fan away. My wife needed a fan that was small enough to fit in her area and powerful enough to work the way she wanted. This fan is perfect, it has two different speeds and and can be put in several positions. Great fan, a little pricey for it's size but well worth the price. Great merchant. ![]()
