"Another great set from Le Creuset", I absolutely love this set. You get the quality of Le Creuset and for thirty bucks it's a great deal. I use these for everything; ziti, chicken, potatoes etc. With Le Creuset, the clean up is so easy; you do not have to constantly scrub the pan to get all the brown bits out like with a glass dish.

This set is good for personal use but makes a nice housewarming gift also.

"Much smaller than expected", I expected a "9 inch" square baker to be larger than the 8 inch square baker I already have; but this dish isn't. It's immediately apparent when you see it, but I measured it to be sure. Measuring the inside dimensions, the bottom is 7 and 1/2 inches across. It's shallow, about 1 and 3/4 inches deep, and at the very top of the lip, it measures 8 and 1/2 inches across. While it does just barely measure 9 inches at its outer limits, I think it's misleading for Amazon and/or Le Creuset to describe this as a 9 inch square baker, which is generally understood to be an oversize dish. The small bonus dish was equally smaller than advertised. If you already have an 8" baker and are looking for the next larger size, keep looking - this will be a disappointment.
