"wife hates them, i like the price" i really tried to make these work... after all, we got like 4 sets of sheets for under $30. alas, my wife hates them, and she might be onto something. they're a weird fabric, and feel cheap. they're a little slidey and strange to sleep on. oh well - nothing ventured, nothing gained. "GREAT" I read where people who bought this item was not happy, but I am very happy. I recommend them "Worth the 5 bucks I paid" I bought the twin set in Chocolate. I paid $5, so I can't complain. These are extremely thin, but I did not experience pilling like some other reviewers did. If you need a quick fix or a set for a child's bed or guest room this is a good choice for the low price. I don't expect them to last very long, but again for $5 I can't complain. I am not really disappointed with the purchase because I knew in advance of the thread count and the price was too low to worry about. "pike street microfiber king size sheets" Not very impressed with the sheets, they were so very thin and when I washed them a couple of times it was as almost as they had hundred of tiny balls on them, would not recommend these sheets. "worst sheets I have ever purchased." I have to admit, I had no idea that they sold polyester sheets, and that if they did, a thread count would be applicable. I purchases these for a cheap set of guest sheets in my home, thinking they were at the very least cotton (never considering otherwise). They are so icky I would never subject a guest to them. Like sleeping on a slip and slide, I imagine. Absolutely positively horrible.

What our customer's say! "You get what you pay for", You get what you pay for on these, they were very thin, and not as soft as I expected, but I will use them for my guest room. "Believe all the bad reviews.", Okay, these sheets really do stink. Mine came snagged like pantyhose. Plus they are not at all what microfiber means to me. They are more like a bad fake silk sheet. Do yourself a favor and pass. "Caution", I rinsed the sheets before putting them on my bed. Big huge faded spots are all over the sheets! "Eh, they were cheap at least!", I can't complain too much because I only paid $6 for these on sale. I wouldn't pay a penny more though. They are very soft and comfortable when you first put them on your bed. However, after washing them again, they pill. They pill and become itchy more and more with each wash. I can't even use the pillow case anymore. Then they rip. So I use them under another sheet, which is also by Pike, and also ripped. Together, the two sheets actually manage to cover my bed. I do have dogs, and I do let them sleep with me. So maybe they have something to do with the ripping. I suppose if you don't have dogs, or kids, or anything that may actually move in your bed (including yourself), these would be great sheets. If you just need a spare set to throw on the bed in case of company, they're fine. But for everyday sheets, forget it. "so so sheets", These are all right. If you need a cheap set of sheets, these aren't too bad. But if you can get 100% cotton for a few bucks more, go for it. These are super slippery and don't stay on the bed well. The colors weren't true (the fitted sheet was darker than the flat sheet, but not by much). I certainly wouldn't pay more than the $7 I paid for them. I needed them so it's no regrets, but I wish I could have waited a few more weeks til I found a 100% cotton set at TJ Maxx for only $24. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Not Acceptable as Sheets", I bought several sets of these in a couple of sizes, and they were a terrible disappointment. They are silky, which means slippery, and they are poorly finished. The fabric is so thin that you can see right through them. They would be more suited as a slip or lingerie than a bed sheet. They are priced so low for a reason. Terrible in every way-totally unacceptable. "Rattan sheets", Great price, service and quality. Will try to buy from Pike Street again. Thank You!! "pike street microfiber sheets", The product was shipped quickly but I was disappointed in the actual product from the description on the site. The sheets are quite thin and you need to be very careful with them. They do fit our very thick mattress very well and stay in place nicely. "very nice", very soft sheets.. would recommend, but be sure your bed isnt a california king, because these will not go over a mattress that is a deep as a california king.. very good quality -- excellent price "Thin Sheets", While the sheets did arrive on time the quality is not exactly what I was expecting. They look more like sheer curtains than sheets which is exactly what they may end up as. You can see completely through them and I shudder to think what my cats would do to them the first time they jump on the bed. Perhaps this was a given due to the description but I guess I didn't expect them to be so thin. |
