A little bit cumbersome but nice long sleeve means no more catching my hand on the oven. good value too. Still, see this one demonstrated here. Your hand feels like it's kind of trapped in a huge plastic device, and you lose lots of mobility. I purchased the translucent oven mitt, but this one is exactly the same except for the lovely raspberry color. Barely recommended, just because it is certainly quite sturdy. *** "The Orka Shark of Oven Mitts", I first bought an Orka when they first came out. I remember they were harder to find and they were much more expensive... I still have that same basic blue Orka in my kitchen. Then I saw they had all new fun colors so I bought this one... I wouldn't trade the Orka for any other mitt on the market. Durable and reliable! and a great deal!
