Others say...
"Great power" I'm a personal chef and use this in my business. It is easy to carry along and has the power to perform in all situations. If is works this well in a professional environment just imagine how it will work in your home kitchen! "Very nice machine -- great value" If your in the market this is an excellent buy. We replaced our 8 year old Kitchen Aid mixer and are very pleased with this product. "Great Hand Mixer!" I'm very pleased with this hand mixer. I bought it because Cuisinart appeared to have the best reviews and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I've only used it once but my blueberry cheesecake was the best I've ever made. It came out perfect. "hand mixer" does what it said it does, has the power I need to mix cookie dough and whip perfect egg whites for merengue. "Just Delighted!!" I haven't enjoyed preparing baked items this much in years!! This mixer has performed beautifully so far. I've prepared lemon cakes, zucchini bread and chocolate cookies with great results that have made everyone happy. I found that it isn't noisy, starts gently, shifts speeds smoothly, no splashing, easy to hold, and splendid beater designs! The eject button works smoothly, and frankly, for the price, I suspect that this is the best choice for women who want to bake cakes and cookies without dealing with large and heavy mixers that are hard to store and awkward to lift.

What our customer's say! "It Pays to buy Quality", Cuisinart continues it's reputation for quality and value, with this mixer. It's significantly more quiet than our old mixer, and very easy to use and handle. I guess you really don't need 7 speeds, but it is nice to start out slowly and then speed up. We got what we expected. "Great mixer", I think I've tried them all and been disappointed. This mixer is still meeting my expectations a full six months after purchasing it. I like the speeds, the ease of cleaning and the attachments. Only thing that disappoints me is getting it to stand on it's end while I add ingredients - it keeps wanting to fall over. Even with that minor irritation, it is a great mixer. "Cuisinart 7-speed mixer", Excellent product. Love the variable speeds. Previously had a 3-speed but I like this one so much better! "High Powered Mixer", Great mixer. Very strong, high-powered, EFFECTIVE! Wow! Easy to clean. We love it. "love this product", love this hand mixer. I had one for many years but got a kitchen-aid hand mixer and got rid of my cuisinart. What a mistake !! the kitchen-aid can not hold a candle to the performance of the cuisinart. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Cuisinart hand mixer", a wonderful produce, fine quality, just right for my use would recommend it to anyone seeking a hand mixer "Good but not great", I debated between the Cuisinart and the Kitchen Aid hand mixer - I'd had the Kitchen Aid before and it was excellent but the beater-holder expired after using it in stiff dough so that was less than impressive. I was impressed by all the great reviews and lower price of the Cuisinart. I haven't used it alot but I can say that it is extremely noisy! I am also concerned that the beater release will expire prematurely because of its design (although I don't know that). Overall I'd say it's good especially given the price but I'm not wowed. "powerful mixer", Best mixer yet. Nice smooth start. A little heavier, but acceptable given added power. "So far, so good!", I just bought this mixer after reviewing Amazon comments and other Web sites. Amazon users give the Cuisinart mixed reviews, but several other sites, such as Cooks.com give it very high marks -- equal to or better than the KitchenAid. It came down to this mixer or a KitchenAid. I decided to buy the Cuisinart, based on the 3-year warranty. One use tells me the mixer has the power I need. It feels and looks first rate, and the beaters do a great job. I agree with everything the first reviewer said in his excellent review, except I don't think the beater release is all that flimsy, unless you are trying to jam attachements in that aren't made for the unit. I'd be reluctant to use other brand dough hooks or attachments as he suggested. The ones I have from a previous mixer are not only larger on the tips (he filed those down) but are also a bit thicker on the shafts. I think you're asking for trouble if you try to force other units' attachments into this mixer. I rate it four stars because Cuisinart doesn't even make dough hooks for this model -- then again, I've never found dough hooks to be very useful on a hand mixer. Oh yeah, I got this baby at "Bad Breath and Beyond" for $49 after I used the 20% coupon. But mine is ALL CHROME top to bottom -- it looks and feels totally awesome! I'll try to upate this review after I've used the mixer a while longer. "The Cuisinart HM-70 is a Solid Performing Mixer", The new Cuisinart HM-70 Power Advantage 7-speed hand mixer is basically a redesign of Cuisinart's earlier retro-style CHM-7 Power Advantage 7-speed hand mixer. Besides the new modern look, the HM-70 control buttons have been rearranged more logically than the buttons on the CHM-7. Instead of the 4 illogically arranged touch pad buttons ("ON", "OFF", "+", "-") and a pushbutton "Eject" button on top of the CHM-7 handle, the new HM-70 has a spring "push-ON/push-OFF" button (where CHM-7 "Eject" button was), just 2 touch pad "+" and "-" speed buttons (logically arranged "front and back" instead of "left and right"), and a trigger-style "Eject" lever located below the handle. The HM-70, like the CHM-7, has a digital display which shows the mixer speed number, 1 to 7. The HM-70 comes with extra long wire beaters, a stainless steel whisk, and a spatula, but does not come with dough hooks. The 5-foot long, heavy-duty round power cord swivels to the left or right side of the mixer. The 7 speed settings offer an extremely wide range of control, with 3 slow speeds available, plus "Soft Start" that gradually increases motor speed on starting. The mixer always starts on the number "1" speed when turned on. There is no worry about about ingredients flying over the side of the bowl with this mixer. The mixer is attractive, light-weight, feels well-balanced, and is comfortable to use. The power and speeds are plenty adequate. Noise and TV-interference is much lower than from my previous hand mixer. Beaters and attachments from other mixers can be used with Cuisinart hand mixers, providing they have the little egg-shaped tips on the ends that snap into the beater holes. This includes attachments from Black and Decker, Sunbeam, Oster, Windmere/Corning, and other brands. KitchenAid has changed to "flat-tipped" beaters on its hand mixers, but older beaters may fit. This is good to know, because I am using the dough hooks from my previous mixer with my new HM-70. Dough hooks (CHM-DH) can be ordered from Cuisinart on its website for $5.00 plus shipping (see parts for the CHM-5SS hand mixer.) HEY CUISINART!!! -- YOU THINK MAYBE YOU MIGHT INCLUDE SOME DOUGH HOOKS INSTEAD OF A SPATULA THAT CAN BE BOUGHT IN ANY DIME STORE??? The HM-70 has one design flaw which keeps it from getting a top-rating. The "Eject" lever is flimsy and barely has enough leverage to eject the beaters. The ejector leverage is adequate for the Cuisinart beaters and whisk, but the dough hooks from my old mixer had a fit slightly snugger. The "Eject" lever did not have enough leverage to eject the non-Cuisinart dough hooks. I fixed this problem by carefully using a small, fine metal file to file down the diameter of the dough hook tips. Now they eject as easily as the Cuisinart beaters using the HM-70 "Eject" lever. Overall, I am happy with my Cuisinart HM-70, but I have only it once, so far. I can't say how well it will hold up after long-term regular use, but it does have a 3 year warranty. Because of the flimsy "Eject" lever and the lack of dough hooks, I have to give this mixer only 4 stars out of 5. ![]() |
