"Cup Cake Shaped - Cake Pan" Great novelty cake pan. Best price / deal was on Amazon. Watch the cooking time as the smaller side will dry out first, but otherwise it is as advertised. You will need at least two(2) baked units for a party serving of normal cake slices. "Awesome!" I bought this for our son's first birthday. I wanted to start a birthday tradition for our children - the birthday boy or girl gets the big cupcake! I did a practice run with the pan & it turned out better than I thought it would. You do need two boxes of cake mix to fill the pan 2/3 full, and you'll have enough batter left over to make 12 cupcakes. Great buy!! "Fun and easy to use " I loved using this pan for my son's first birthday; it was a lot of fun watching him dig into this huge cupcake. I was glad that I read reviews on the pan first because the cake turned out perfectly the first time. Here are the two important tips I learned from my research before purchasing the pan: 1.) Make sure to fill both sides only 3/4 full 2.) Place the side of the pan with the top of the cupcake in the front of the oven (it bakes faster) Enjoy this great pan! "Giant Cupcake" The cupcake came out nice just make sure you but lots of butter and flour so it doesnt stick. "Giant wilton Cupcake Pan" My order came very fast and was better than I expected. My grandchildren and I had alot of fun making this "Giant" cupcake cake.

What our customer's say! "Possible Helpful Hint", I am about to purchase this pan for my daughter's first b-day cake, and read some of the reviews, many people seem to have a problem with the cake baking faster in the top part of the pan because it holds less, has anyone tried baking the cakes in two seperate stages, so that the baking time of one does not effect the other? When I purchase, this is what I plan on doing. "BEST PAN EVER!", Ok, sorry people who gave bad reviews..your on CRACK! This pan ROCKS!! I used the baker joy flour/oil spray and cake fell out of pan by itself. Was a bit overdone on one side but I saw later that some people cooked one side first for a while then the other. I'll probably cook the first side 5 or 10 min then fill the smaller side. Cake came out perfectly otherwise. You have to trim the ops to get a flat surface to connect the 2 pieces but even my 'normal' cakes dome so I always cut the tops to make them flat, not biggie. The best thing i can say for you is to try this recipe. I didnt want to use a 'normal' box cake because i had to transport this cake and I thought it would be too soft to stand being juggled. I didnt want to make a pound cake from scratch either. I settled on this, and you can do it with any boxed cake flavor. It makes a denser cake than a normal box but not QUITE a pound cake density either. Just right for transporting and very tasty! Hope you like the giant cupcake pan as much as I do! I used a regular cake mix, which produced six cups of batter. I poured 3 1/2 cups of batter in the "bottom" portion of the mold, and 2 cups of batter in the "top" of the cupcake. When I use a cake mix, I use the mix with 1/3 cup softened butter, 1 cup of milk and 4 eggs. This produces a fine, moist crumb texture, much like a pound cake. And I found this produces a better cake for this pan than following the usual ingredients called for on the back of the cake mix box. "It's a nice idea", The large cupcake pan is a "nice concept". I was under the impression that the base of the cake was 8" in diameter rather than 6". I bought it with something in particular in mind and was not able to execute it but nonetheless I used it. It was a little on the small size but then again so is a cupcake hahahahaha. "So Cute!", My wife purchased this pan to make our baby girl's 1st birthday cake. It turned out perfect. If you follow the directions, you should have no trouble with one side cooking faster than the other, or over-flowing, etc. Like I said, it turned out great and she got tons of compliments on it-everyone thought it was a professionally done cake! "Does exactly what it says", My wife bought this cake pan for a birthday party and we've made about 3 cakes so far with it. The non-stick surface works perfectly and all you need to do to get the cake out is turn the pan upside-down and the cakes fall right out. We agree with other reviewers that filling the "top" portion more than the "base" portion of the pan with cake mix helps them to cook evenly. To make the pieces fit perfectly some excess need to be cut from the over risen top and bottom of the respective bottom and top peices. ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "Fantastic", I just bought this pan at Hobby Lobby and love it!! My only tip is to turn your oven down and bake it slowly! I received so many compliments on the cake. "Love it", Just love this pan - have made several of these cakes for friends birthdays, and they get a kick out of it. Only this is that after baking, in order to get two pieces to sit right together, you must cut off some of the cake. I have not figured out how to get cakes to bake flatter. My Wilton Magi-cake strips slide off. Fun item would recommend "What a great pan!", The gaint cupcake is always a big hit- plus it's so fun to decorate. Cleans up easy- very nice- never sticks to pan. I would buy again! "Love this pan", I have used this pan twice since I received it and had no problems. I use Pam with flour, spray the pan well and it comes out great. I filled the pans about 2/3 full and suggested in previous reviews and bake it about 50min. I used two cake mixes and used the extra for cup cakes. The cake came out done, not over done or under done. I would recomend this pan. "Giant cupcake pan", Wilton Giant Cupcake Cast Pan I haven't tried my pan yet. It doesn't have any instructions on how to use it with a box cake mix. It only has 1 recipe with it so you have to try and figure out how to use it with your own recipies. ![]() |
