"It helps", The attatchment does help. I bought the Stowaway (cannister style) from Dyson last spring and it is HORRIBLE. The only good thing about it is the awesome suction. Otherwise it is difficult and cumbersome! Not user friendly at all!!! This attatchment does make it a little bit better.

"it works!", just got around to using it yesterday. it really helped with cleaning the ceiling fans. works with any dyson model with the 2 included adapters. i have the dyson slim. it's not a smooth swivel. it has a few "notches" for pre-set angles so it doesn't change angle while moving.

"Very awkward, doesn't clean well at all, way too expensive", This is one of the most awkward attachments you'll ever see. All Dyson attachments seem to be to specialized and this one isn't an exception. Don't be fooled but the flexible looks - you'll only be able to use it on a ceiling fan or something at a similar angle.

Regarding its cleaning capabilities, they're quite bad. It's hard to get good suction and find the right angle. Additionally, it's way too expensive for what this is (well, all Dyson attachments are). $35 for THAT?

I'm very much in love with the Dyson as far as the vacuum itself goes. The attachment system, however, is quite poor. $65 for a spinning brush? Are you kidding me?

"I wrote to Dyson and suggested this", I wrote to Dyson and suggested a ceiling fan brush.
Voila here it is.

If you use a pole in your left hand with the vacuum...then you can stop the blades from turning as you clean.

"Dyson Multi-Angle Brush Attachment", This attachment is so much better than the dust brush that comes with the vacuum. You can dust your ceiling, walls and other surfaces by just a few turns of the brush. I also found that I can attach it where the original brush sits on the cleaner. That way you have it with you for instant dusting jobs. I rate it 5 stars, but for some reason I could not get the stars to work. Instead it asked me to create my own review.
