What our customer's say!

"Great addition to Senseo; no need for filters", I've been using the Presto MyPod for about 10 months on a daily basis. I love it. I like strong coffee and have found that the Senseo coffee pods were never strong enough for my taste (likewise with other brand pods, such as Folgers). With the MyPod, I typically use espresso coffee and have found it makes a decent cup.

Presto recommends the use of small, paper filters to put at the bottom of the MyPod, which they sell. But I have found that I get a satisfactory cup of coffee without using the paper filters. (Truth be told, I use the paper filters every now and then when I want a cup of coffee that is free of silt, but this is more the exception rather than the rule.)

Bottom line: the Presto MyPod makes the Senseo practical for daily use, and I can effortlessly switch back to the Senseo pods on any morning I'm feeling lazy and don't want to clean out the coffee grounds from the MyPod.

"Saves money...... Provides complete choice in brewing.", Yeah, I'm cheap. But not when it comes to my java. The Senseo made excellent coffee in the volumes I require each day, affordable again. Problem: the pods where still a little pricey and having discovered a wonderful little grocery that carries a multitude of coffee bean choices... well I just couldn't figure how I was going to combine the two. Then... Presto! Walking down the kitchen gadgets aisle at Wally World I found the Mypod. Works like dream. At first I had trouble with a few grounds getting through - here's what you do: Before loading the basket run a little water through it, shake excess off and carefully place circular filter on the wet surface. The wet filter will not move as you fill the basket with your choice of coffee, ground at the fineness you desire and at a price very near "out of the can" national brand (spell that bland) coffees. Thank you Senseo and thank you Presto. Life is Good!

"No foam, otherwise great", This is a great item if you want to use your own coffee grinds to save money or get more variety. I use it without the paper filters, they just don't really matter and it eliminates a step. Get a fine grind of coffee, use about a heaping tablespoon. The little plastic top should compress the coffee if you used enough - this DOES matter! Wipe any excess grinds off the device if you're a little sloppy filling the basket. Use the SINGLE cup button on the Senseo. This device does not make foam and it doesn't retain as much water as the pods do so you'll get a little more liquid in the cup than you're used to. It's easy to use, makes good coffee, and I can still get my Irish Creme even though Senseo stopped making the pods! This is pretty wordy, but it takes all of one use to get the idea.

"Presto-Mesto!", I was wanting to save money and stop buying high-dollar coffee pods for my senseo($3.99-$4.99 for 16-18 cups). So I saw the Presto My Pod device. Seemed perfect. It was a nightmare. You can't put enough coffee in the holder to make a decent cup of coffee, and if you try to put more, it runs over.
Also, it seems with this device, the machine does not know to stop at one cup....it just kept on running, all over the kitchen counter. I think I will invest more and try one of the PodMakers that actually makes and seals pods from your own brand of coffee. Sure, it's about $40-$50, but in the long run (if IT works) it will save money. I absolutely would not recommend the Presto My Pod.

"wrong item pictured", I am sure that this is just an oversight on the sellers part, however, the item pictured (9403 as I later found out) is not the one being shipped (the 9402). I know this seems petty, but I am paying over eight bucks shipping for an item which is not the one pictured. beware
