"Misleading"
The bowl that RR uses on her show appears to be wider and larger than this one. It's not as large as I hoped it to be. It's still useful but the material its made of really isn't as attractive as the picture.

""It's ugly but very useful!""
While this bowl is hardly the nicest looking thing in my kitchen, it has become the most useful! I have dozens of bowls I could have used, but there is something about this deep plastic bowl that allows me to really stop and put my "garbage" in it while preparing a meal. I've stopped running back and forth to the trash can and just put all my scraps, peelings, wrappers, etc. right in it. I absolutely love it! Rachael does have some good ideas!

"Handy and Stylish!"
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents. They have a septic system and are always concerned about trash going down the drain. My mom can't say enough good things about this bowl, which they use for all their cooking clippings (i.e. onion peels, butter wrappers, you name it.) It is also fun to look at. She has told me two or three times since Christmas how much she likes it.

What our customer's say!

"An idiotic waste of money and an insult to your intellegence", If you've bought this item your an idiot, you can go to any dollar store and buy a plastic bowl if you think it contains some sort of magic or will make your cooking easier you need help.
While I think cleaning up as you go along cooking is a great Idea I have to say you can do it on the cheap remember that dollar store well they sell plastic bowls and alot more and guess what you don't have to pay shipping if you just want to waste money or throw it away you have too much, send it to me or donate it to your local food bank or a local charity.
This is just a waste of money and a blatant name branding scheme anyone dumb enough to spend money on this shouldn't be allowed near sharp knives.

"Not a sturdy product, not worth the price.", The item is made with very thin plastic. The bowl didn't ship well. I received the item damaged. Would not recomend. I ended up going on eBay and buying an antique Texas Ware bowl.

"Love It!!", I was so glad that I purchased the quartz color bowl. It is so easy to peel fruits and vegetables over the bowl. At the end of the day we take out everything and put it on the compost pile. I debated about paying that much just for a garbage bowl but I do not regret it because it makes it so convenient to recycle.

"Suggestion: See it first at stores.", I love watching the 30-minute Meals show. I have gotten a lot of great ideas for cooking quality meals fairly quickly. But I have also fallen into the television trap of "I want that!" from watching the show, and I purchased several Rachel Ray items online including this garbage bowl. The products are not bad quality, as far as I can tell.

But I have a suggestion. You can find a lot of these items at places like Kohls and you can see them first before buying. I was shopping at Kohls and came across the Rachel Ray line. But I also found a bowl I liked even better than this garbage bowl that would work for the same purpose. And it was less expensive, especially when shipping was taken into account. I am now giving this bowl to my sister and keeping the one I like better.

I remember falling into this trap before when I was invited to about fifteen Pampered Chef parties in a six month time period (when everyone I knew caught the Pampered Chef fever). I ended up buying a lot of things I really didn't need. I also discovered that the items weren't very well priced when I went to a Williams Sonoma store in the mall and found near identical items that were priced even cheaper and that I liked even better.

I just recommend people look at these products in person before buying.

"Awesome!", This is a great bowl and the only reason I purchased it was because it matched my decor. I could easily use any bowl for garbage, and not spend 14 for it. But I love it.
