What our customer's say!

"Craptastic", I grabbed this thing from my sister because she was afraid to use it.

I just wanted to try making potato chips. I figured that it could at least slice potatoes so I could fry them to make potato chips.

Big mistake! What it does is slice foods thin to thick, no matter how you apply pressure. The flimsy plastic inserts that are supplied flex so much that getting a uniform thickness of anything is impossible. I wound up with potato chips that were crunchy on one end and soggy on the other. Not very appetizing at all.

It isn't all that dangerous, as my sister thought. I was able to slice my potatoes down to almost nothing. It's very sharp though, enough for me not to notice that I had sliced a small piece of skin from my thumb a while after using this thing. I've had worse accidents with dull knives.

"Lousy Slicer", This is one of the lousiest slicers that I have ever had the misfortune to own. The blades are difficult to slice with, and the rinky-dink safety holder barely grips the food. How can it grip food when the little spikes are only about 1/4 inch long? The grater feature does not grate or shred anything into nice nice pieces. Instead, I got useless potato confetti when I was trying to shred potatoes for hash browns. Save your money on this purchase, and get something that's better like the V-Slicer or a Zyliss slicer.

"you have got to be kidding", I ordered this item two weeks before Christmas because your "...sitting on top of your ivory tower electronic only means of running a business..." said it was possible to get it before Christmas. Two weeks after Christmas I traced the order and issued a credit card stop payment request. Yesterday (we're about 60 days now) I received an email from your "magic business model" stating the item was undeliverable. Which brings me to the real issue: your firm may or may not have a choice on delivery agencies but choosing DHL is your first mistake. There is a significant competency issue here.

I have been propositioned to purchase other things because of your aggressive marking engine but I honestly hold my decisions on two fronts: 1) your reliability to deliver is gravely suspect and 2) the shipping and handling turn out to be a significant penalty tax. It has gotten to the point where a web search for a product that brings me to your site for a choice will cause me to choose otherwise along with anything sold by eBay. In short, I have no time for the funny business with eBay and its gotten the same way with your firm. Sorry to have dumped on you. But you did ask!

"great product", I bought this slicer mainly to slice and cut vegetables like potatoes and carrots. The blade is sharp and the gliding is smooth. You can choose three thickness of slices by flipping the attachments. Two choices of Julienne cut. One is French fry thickness. The other is very thin stripes. I wish they have more options for the thickness of Julienne cut because for my purpose (stir fry), one is too thick and one is too thin. I don't worry about the sturdiness of the plastic. It seems to be able to last as long as I want to keep them. The problem with plastic is it gets stained or dirty over uses and eventually can not be cleaned to the original look. That's what happened to my last plastic slicer. Overall I'm very happy with this product. It handles vegetables with ease. I would recommend it to others. One thing I would like to point out is, it's an MIU product according to Amazon. However, nowhere on the box or on the product itself can I find the word or sign 'MIU'. I've never purchased an MIU product. Maybe this is the way it is. If I didn't believe Amazon I would think I bought a brandless product.
