"Great product", I bought this as a replacement for an existing fan that had finally
quit. The orginal fan was suspended from a rod and as the room it was in
was conventional height, it stuck down into the room. When I bought this
fan I was looking for one that was 'closer' to the ceiling. This fan fulfilled that requirement and was a cinch to install. I bought this light kit to go with the fan and it is as compact as one could make.

"Bright, Energy Efficient", Despite the sketchy instructions, the light kit was easy to install on a Hunter fan that I purchased locally. My guess is that people with little experience with wiring and light fixture installation may need some help from someone who is handy. When I installed the fan I did end up calling Hunter's help line with a wiring question. I was on hold for a long time, but when I did get through, the agent was helpful and knowledgeable. Don't forget that there is a pull-chain switch on the fan itself. I turned on the light at the wall switch, and for a few minutes could not figure out why it didn't work.
