"Tassimo Carte Noire Petit Dejeuner" This is an espresso coffee that I couldn't give away fast enough. I hated it. For breakfast I prefer a much milder blend without the acrid aftertaste. "One of the Best European Coffees you can buy in the United States" I was very surprised to see that I could purchase this coffee in the United States. I jumped at the chance to pick them up at an affordable price. Needless to say, all of the coffee from the shipment is gone. It is that good. It would be very wise to pick up as many packages as possible because Amazon has the lowest price.

"awsome shorty", great cup of coffee, i drink it black and straight from the tassimo. this pod makes for a small cup, about half, and is perfectly brewed in my tassimo. "BEWARE OF OVERPRICED SHIPPING", I purchased three hardback books and added this coffee to the order because it was indicated I would get free shipping. The coffee was decent, but not as good as Starbucks or Gevalia. Most upsetting was the shipping charge. I was charged $8.00 in postage, making the coffee overpriced. My comment to Amazon was not replied to, making the likelihood of further purchases pretty slim. Tassimo coffee can be purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond as well as Target. Save the shipping and the prices are as good, if not better, than Amazon. "Nothing Special about the taste. ", Having about 5 different flavors in my office I decided to add this new, for me, product to my daily selection. It has a slight bleached paper taste to it and a slightly unpleasant after taste. I will not be ordering any more. "Must Love Strong Coffee", This is My Favorite Coffee of All time. It is Very Intense and Strong. It is also a Smaller cup of coffee, European style coffees are that way. The other Carte Noire Voluptuoso offering is my 2nd Favorite (Crema Style). Did not see that one here on Amazon. If you like Mild or Medium Coffee you'll want to steer clear of this. If you like strong coffee like me you should love it.
