"Made by Kai, who makes Shun", Folks, take a look at the price of the Shun bread knife. Now realize that that the same company makes this knife in the same way and the price become even better. The same scalloped shape as the Shun is offered in the Seki Magoroku line. The quality in this line is even higher than the Wasabi line.

I think the reason people may not go for these knives is that the handles are wood. That means that the handles shouldn't get very wet and the knives must be washed by hand. Unless you're cutting a bunch of wet bread, I don't see how this should be a problem.
