"So awesome" Doesn't leak cap is very well sealed and easy to open mixes better than mesh (its a ball made of wire) great for to mix in protein and other supplements worth 5x what you pay "blender bottle" i love this product. i have four of them and they have changed my life. "Undecided" I have used my Sundesa Blender Bottle several times now, but have not decided whether or not it was worth $8.50 (bought at GNC). It DOES leak, granted not as bad as some of the cheaper versions I have tried. As for the actual mixing, it does a good job. There are usually clumps of protein powder on the sides, but could be the brand of powder I use, not the "ball" inside. Overall, this product performs as intended. "Amazing! " Definitely worth the money! I was surprised by how well it works. I needed something to blend my protein drinks and have tried a couple of different products, but nothing has worked this well. I'm amazed by how smooth it blends the powder. No lumps at all. None! "Great product, and much kudos......." I just wanted to write an update to my last review. In my last review I stated I liked it but it leaked on the side of the rim. Well not even two days later Ryan from Biossential Nutrition got in touch with me reassured me that I must have received a defective product and promptly had a new one shipped out. I use the new bottle almost every day and it doesn't leak one bit. I'm very ecstatic to recommend this product from there company to anyone. Awesome product, Awesome Company, Over the top Awesome Customer Service. Thanks- I will defiantly do business again!!

What our customer's say! "I Put on 30 Pounds of Muscle in 3 Months Because of Workout Shakes I Made With This", The right shaker can make a big difference in the quality of your workout shakes. I love the shakers with the little blender ball the most. They create a higher quality and consistency in the shake than any other shakers. This is especially vital because of my ABC bodybuilding's Window of Opportunity Shake that I use. Please keep in mind that it is a guide, not a dogma. Do what feels right and what works for you. The Window of Opportunity is a post-workout shake that I used when I put on over 30 pounds of muscle within 3 months. My bench went from 215 pounds to 450, body fat from 7% to 3%, and mile time from 6 minutes to 5. It works. Here are the quick basics, although you definitely must read the article yourself. After the work out, you should consume .22 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and 5 grams of carbohydrate (half dextrose, half maltodextrin) per 10 pounds of lean muscle mass for bulking, or 2.5 grams of carbohydrate (half dextrose, half maltodextrin) per 10 pounds of lean muscle mass for cutting. You should also consume 5-10 grams of creatine, 5-10 grams of glutamine, and a multi-anti-oxidant formula. All this must be done over a 45-60 minute period. The 45-60 minute sequence is vital: Step One: * Blend 1/3 protein (experiment to find the exact number for you), 1/3 dextrose (simple sugar), and 1/3 maltodextrin (complex sugar) with enough water (water should be at least 92% of the total mixture). Add 500 mg of sodium per liter of water used. * Shake the ingredients well. Put creatine powder in your mouth (5-10 grams when starting, 2.5-5 grams once body is saturated with creatine) and drink the shake to wash the creatine down. It is better to do this than to mix the creatine in water, as that makes creatine lose its potency. * Drink one half of the shake within 5 minutes of working out. After this 5 minutes, allow an additional 10-15 minutes for the solution to settle in your stomach. Step 2: * After the solution has dissolved in your stomach for 10-15 minutes, consume 5-10 grams of Glutamine and your multi-vitamin (Life Force) with one gulp of the shake. * Continue to drink the remaining half of the shake for the following 30-45 minute period. * It is vital to drink small sips of your shake for the entire 30-45 minute period. This allows for maximum absorption rate of the nutrients into your body. Step 3: * Take fish oil with a meal, preferably at breakfast. * Take ZMA on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before you go to sleep. "Awesome for traveling!", This thing is great - and easy to pack so you don't have to take up room in your luggage with a hand mixer - just put the protein powder in ziploc baggies and store in the blender bottle for packing. When you get to your destination, all you have to do is unpack, grab your favorite beverage and a ziploc baggie and you are set - instant protein shake! Blends most protein powders well, though I have used some that have clumped a tiny bit...:) "Good shaker", Just as advertised. I was surprised at how well it works - really blends all the powder without terribly much effort (shaking). Good alternative to a blender for an office environment. Easy to clean. Definitely worth it. "Great Mixer Bottle for Your Protein Shakes!", I'm pretty sure that if you're looking at this item that you're starting to go to the gym and are wanting to take supplement shakes like I did. As was recommended in another review, I prefer to add the liquid (whether it be soy milk, water, or regular milk) first, then add your supplement powder to the bottle. This helps to reduce clumping. I used to be able to make clump-free drinks, but alas now I have tiny clumps, not that it really bothers me. I probably fill the bottle up way too much, not allowing enough air for the whisk to make use of. Only drawback are that fruit can get stuck in the whisk-ball and it leaks. But wait! Don't go away yet. It only leaks on me when I use it as a plain water bottle. I'm guessing water's viscosity is too low allowing it to seep out. Never any problems with my protein shakes. My favorite recipe: Fill halfway with Soy Milk 1 handful of frozen blueberries 2 large scoops of greek yogurt (I buy it in the larger containers.) 1 scoop chocolate whey protein 1 scoop double chocolate casein protein Shake Chug-a-lug! "Given as a gift many times", I have given the Blender Bottle in many forms to my clients and friends as a gift. I also own three at home. I use the Blender Bottle in many ways, from protein shakes, to powder drink mixes, to salad dressing. Clean up is as simple as dropping the bottle and the ball in the dishwasher. The genius of the Blender Bottle is in its simplicity! ![]()
Read this reviews before You buy... "The best!", This is a sturdy blender bottle. And it's the perfect size for short drinks. I like to mix a protein shake before and after workouts. But sometimes I don't like a big shake. This bottle is just perfect. I bought mine on Amazon from BioEssentials and they're great to do business with. I got the order in three days (two of which were weekend days.) I was glad that I order two of them. I've sure I'll use them frequently. The only thing I don't like about these (and many other bottles) is that it's hard to see the measuring lines. It would be nice if they were dark so you could easily make sure you're measuring just the right amount. But, I guess you could do that with a marker if you wanted and it's a very small complaint. I highly recommend this blender bottle to you. - Susanna K. Hutcheson "The BEST, don't waste time with others.", I use these cups for mixing protein shakes and to take a couple different powder supplements. I kept buying other brands of mixing cups and they kept breaking. Either the lid didn't screw on right and leaked, or the badly-fitting cap on the top broke off or its lip did. Some of them had a rubber ring to prevent leakage that invariably detached in the washer and eventually got lost. Some had wide strainers that didn't break up the protein shake properly (if you use cheapo protein, you know what a pain it is to get it to mix.) I was getting fed up, having bought every kind I could find at Wal-Mart and GNC and wherever else. It seemed like they were all junk. I have Amazon Prime, so I buy quite a bit online these days. I decided to see if there was anyone anywhere on the Internet selling "high quality" mixing cups. The answer is YES, and it is this cup. The first thing I noticed when I got the cup was the cap (the part that closes over the mouth hole.) The cap is a SOLID piece of plastic that is rigidly fitted to the lid. The cap and the lid are made out of the same hard plastic, and they fit together solidly and tightly. I think the cap must be physically incapable of leaking, and I cannot think of a situation where you could break the cap or lid unless you are intentionally trying to break it. The lid has two threads, and it screws on tight and doesn't leak as long as you get it all the way (it requires no stupid rubber ring either.) As I mentioned before, I've had trouble with other mixer lids not fitting well. This lid screws on pretty easily, and I rarely have to unwind it and try again. The two pieces just twist together like you'd expect. The cup itself is made of what feels like slightly more flexible transparent plastic, and it has little ridges so you can keep a grip on it. While the plastic is a little softer, it doesn't feel flimsy at all, and the plastic is pretty thick though not as thick as the lid. There is a measurement scale on the side in both ounces and milliliters. Finally, the mixer. The mixer in this thing is a flexible piece of wire wound into a spherical shape. I have to admit I was wary, but it really works, and a lot better than stupid lid strainers. One thing that may contribute to this is the fact that while shaking, the strainer ball can travel up and down the full length of the cup. It's easy to clean, I just throw it in the little closeable compartment in the silverware tray in my dishwasher. I suppose I should mention the cup's diameter makes it a little too big to fit in the glass tray in my dishwasher, but that is picking nits. This cup is great, and I will be buying more of them. "About as good as it gets", If there are "vastly better products" out there I certainly haven't found them. I do agree that the ball seems to have limited affect in some cases - usually when the shake is thick and/or the liquid used to mix the shake is very cold. In those cases, the traditional "wagon wheel" style is probably better, but none of about half a dozen types I've tried have been designed as well as the blender bottle. The cap is easy to secure and creates a very tight seal, the drinking spout is a good size to drink from and forms a tight seal as well. It is also very well constructed - very thick walls, no sharp seams, and nice gripping surfaces on either side. My suggestion to people having mixing difficulties is to start with powder and the whisk ball, add your liquid, seal everything up, and turn the shaker upside down to shake at first. This minimizes clumping in the corner or the spout. Ample room-temperature liquid also seems to help a lot - if you're expecting to make an ice-cold, milkshake-thick drink in this thing you will probably be disappointed. All in all, this is the best shaker I have ever used. Highly recommended. "Great Product", The Blender Bottle is Awesome!!! This is the first protein drink shaker that actually produces a smooth protein shake when you're done. This is the first one that has no clumps at all. I normally make my shake with juice or milk (it's gross to have clumpy not fully flavored water) which kind of defeats the purpose by adding extra calories and or carbs, but with the blender bottle I can blend with water and since it's finally fully mixed, it's tasty. Also, it's really easy to clean up as there is no powder in the corners of the bottom, in the wire ball, and there is no o-ring to keep track of (but it doesn't leak at all even though it doesn't have one) This is hands down the best mixer I've had. "Nice", Does just what it should, seals tight, mixes thoroughly, and easy to clean out. I have had other shakers and this one is much nicer than any of the others I have had. I mainly use it for protein powder mixes with either water or soy milk and some flax seed oil, so I'm not using it for large solids, but for what I use it for I can't ask for anything more. ![]() |
