"Nice combo, great price" The combination of a USB card reader and 16 GB SDHC memory card is handy. I use this combo to backup my PC's most important working files and Outlook email PST file since they don't all fit on a rewritable DVD. I also use this to transfer files between computers. This combo was less expensive than the same capacity USB flash drive (at the time I purchased) and more flexible since I can use cheaper SD cards that also work in my digital camera. It would have been nice to include a little protective storage case for at least the SD card, but I'll just use my old CF card cases I don't need anymore. "Pleased with my purchase" I purchased this combo to use with my new Canon FS100 SD Flash Camcorder. Both the memory and the card reader work great. The card reader is very basic, It has no cover for the USB connector or anything to keep dust out of the SD slot. I simply keep my spare card in the slot to keep it from collecting dust, dirt or lint. The SD card does feel ever so slightly loose in the reader but this has never had an effect on its ability to read the card. Over all, I am very happy. "What a cool device!" I love my 16Gig SDHC memory card - captured my nephew's wedding and brother's band music all on one tiny card, but the coolest thing is the USB card reader... the slots that came on my computer won't read SDHC but that isn't stopping me now! "Freight seemed no discount even you buy two" What made me sad is that it seemed I have paid double freight when I bought two SDHC cards together, there was no discount. As to the product quality, it seemed OK. "FANTASTIC DEAL" Nice and fast card , great addition for my Cowon D2 also would be a great card for any camera. The included reader work's like a dream. Buy 2 there cheap!

What our customer's say! "Works like a champ", The thumb drive card reader is a life saver and easily plugs into the USB port. The memory stick is fast and worked great with my camera. Note: SDHC cards do not work in older cameras so check your product specifications before you purchase this combo. "Works well and fast", Bought this to use in an Archos 605 WiFi (4gb) media player. Works wonders and at a speedy rate. Helpful USB card reader gives nice flexibility on the go at computers without card readers. "Terrific usefulness but cheaper separately", At the time of this writing, it's actually cheaper to buy the memory card (with frustration-free packaging) Transcend 16 GB SDHC SD Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS16GSDHC6E [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] and USB reader separately Transcend TS-RDS6W SD/MMC/XD Card Reader (presuming you use Amazon Prime). "Ultra Speed...", Great as its "brother" CF 8 GB x133. This company has my trustworthy credit. In comparison to A-DATA 8 GB (also "Class 6") Transcend's access time and speed is really ultra. I don't get it why A-DATA is so slooow?! They abuse label "Class 6"! A-DATA, where are you? Oh, I was going to forget: Card reader is great! I tried this card in others readers but Transcend's is always faster (why?) "Convenient way to transfer SDHC files on any computer!", Now it doesn't matter which laptop I have -- I can take the movies straight from the Kodak Zi6 and make a movie! 
Read this reviews before You buy... "not a happy camper", the card was defective and the reader was some cheap one-not the one in the picture-some off brand. Since I threw away the original plastic packaging, it is not returnable. sent the card to the manufacturer for warranty and we'll see what happens. "a good inexpensive option for mega storage", We use this card for our DSLR and it has sufficient speed for the job. The USB interface comes in handy because our SD card slots don't support SDHC. "Bargain high speed, high capacity storage", There is not much to be said about such a mundane device: it just works. I own three of these cards (bought the first one more than six months ago) and they have been performing flawlessly. Read and write performance is fast enough that they have no problem keeping up with my Canon DSLR or my compact camera while recording HD video. The bundled reader is very small and convenient. If you don't need the reader, you can save yourself a couple of bucks by ordering the Frustration-Free Packaging version. "A cheap and great option", If you do a search around Google and other sites for cheap 16GB SDHC Cards you won't find many (any?) cheaper than this, even without the Card Reader. I use it with my Canon Vixia and it has both the cards I have used have been flawless. The card readers are nice for some folks I guess however all of my machines have card readers these days and I was able to access the stored content on these without a problem. There is not much more to say, for Canon Vixia users you will get flawless performance and a price point that is pretty well unbeatable without compromise. That is all there is to it. Best Buy were selling 8GB cards for more than the cost of this last time I checked (August 2008). "Very good card", Well i bought this SDHC 16GB card few weeks ago for my Asus 901XP PC, i only used it with that computer and with the USB adapter on few other PCs, and so far it works very good. Since i don't have a camera that supports this card i can't say much about it, but this card seems to be fast and recognized (with the usb adapter) on few other PCs with no problem (even old ones) with no need of any driver installation (windows XP). I use this card to safe photons and documents of my PC. |
