"Great Deal!" Wow! Purchased for my Canon camera so I would have plenty of room for video. No problems what so ever! "Good deal" Good deal for its price. The only issue is the fact that the reader is a bit thick, but apart from that it's quite good package deal. 8G is now in the middle range of storage size, so if you need cheap bundled with reader SD card, go for it. "Great value, works well" Ordered this for $18, although the current price ($19.28) is still a very good deal. My main reason for purchase was to get an SDHC reader for my wife's camera (previously bought a Transcend 4GB SDHC card that was itself almost $15). The reader works well on my Vista x64 machine and on my wife's Win XP SP2 laptop. Performance seems good. Not quite as fast as my Corsair USB flash drive but damn close. Ordered it from Amazon, along with another item fulfilled by Amazon, and both arrived together faster than expected. "works like a charm" this is a great product. i ordered 2. it works like a charm in my Canon S3IS. you have to use the usb adaptor it comes with to transfer your files (unless your onboard SD drive is up to date and supports the SDHC's), but.. so what? it's 8 gigs! "Good product..." The card is stable and card reader looks pretty neat. It's not only a good product but also with good price.

What our customer's say! "Excellent value", The Transcend 8GB memory card and reader are perfectly priced to provide ample storage at lot cost. The SDHC card reader was a great addition as my computers internal card reader wasn't able to read SDHC cards. Using with a Canon Rebel XSi and I love it. "Very useful little gadget for mini-computers", I got this little USB to accompany my ASUS Eee PC 901 It is the perfect accessory. With a little legwork you can achieve the same functionality as a DVD drive at a fraction of the space and cost. With this little gem I was able to change the OS on my EEE while waiting to get my tires rotated! I have not had any problems with this item and I would highly recommend it! The only drawback is that it is so small- it is easy to misplace. Don't put any sensitive data on it! I leave mine at home and only take it out when I need it. "Great Value", The Transcend card reader/8GB SDHC card combo is a great value at the price I paid. The card reader is a bit slow, but it's almost not worth consideration considering that the only time I would use it would be when no other card reader (such as a built-in or dedicated multicard reader) is available. The fastest card reader is the one you actually have... I wish I could buy all my SDHC cards this way and I hope that this vlaue package stays around for a while. Buy it. Read this reviews before You buy... "Works as it should", This combo was at a great price so I snatched up two of them. the cards are excellent. I notice no lag time at all when taking large sized photos on my Nikon D40. The read/write time is very quick with no wait on either (at least on my camera). The card reader itself is small and has a small profile which is good for those people who have computers with USB ports that are on top of each other. Both items work well and I have had no problems to date with either. "Works great, Price is right", This combo rocks. Great write speed, excellent compatibility. I've used it in Windows, Suse Linux, and my dvd player's USB port. No problems. "Trans-8gb-SD-card", It works fine, it came fast. I've used it to transfer large amount of data. I'm happy "Quality product at a terrific price", I highly reccoment this chip for anyone that has a camera that is 8 megs or higher. Anything much smaller and ther is too much chip changing. With it's dedicated reader and the small footprint you can download your pictures to a flashdrive from any computer "Big memory, great price!", Transcend TS8GSDHC6-S5W 8GB SDHC6 Memory Card with Card Reader Memory card and reader functioned well; used as primary photo storage for recent trip to Vietnam. Excellent price for so much memory, and delivered promptly as I have become accustomed with Amazon's merchants. |
