"Ok the price", Always wanted one of these, but didn't want to pay $30 + for one. For the money it does slice nice, but not as smooth as I'd like. The guard is ackward, but once you get it going it works OK. I use it more for slicing then dicing veggies since the dicing part of it is too small and hard to clean. It does slice veggies thin, but the julian option seems too dangerous to me to use, since these little blades roll up and they are hard to roll up and down, so be careful! It is OK for the price, but if you do a lot of slicing, go for a more expensive better one.
