"Great Product!" This is the first time that I've ever written a review about anything, listen...I had a big brown stain on my carpet for months,from what? I do not know..I was so upset because it is a new carpet... anyway, I tried EVERYTHING and every product. I saw this advertised and thought well it can't hurt to try it..it was inexpensive enough. Yesterday, I used it and didn't have much hope UNTIL it dried and I couldn't believe my eyes...the stain was GONE!!! My cleaning crew was here this morning (they tried also) and they can't believe it either. So, whatever the case may be..,this product worked for me hands down! "Great for Apartments!" I dreaded investing in a steamer just to remove some embarrasing stains in my cream-colored apartment carpeting. Luckily, I tried a Woolite Rug Stick and it worked! It removed the stains (tea and who knows what else) and fluffed up the smashed down "high traffic" areas. Now I can invite guests without apologies! Note: The handle was not a problem, but sliding a dowel or rod inside would probably add some strength, if you need it. What a terrific little gift, if you are into practical things!! "worka great" i purchased a rug stick to clean my carpets. it worked perfect.they service was swift i received it in no time. i would recommend to everyone who has a rug "Would recommend!" I finally found this product at Vons. With the coupon the cost came to $12 including tax. I used it on three floor rugs. I have three dogs and one is a puppy who seems to think the rugs are his own personal pee pads. I have been using the Woolite carpet cleaner that comes with this product for a while to spot clean my carpet and rugs. The rug stick is much more convenient because it covers a larger area and I don't have to get on my hands and knees. I was concerned that it would be flimsy based on a prior review but I did not find that to be the case at all. It also removed a stain on one of the rugs that I hadn't been able to get out previous with a hand brush. "OK, but not great" I just used it on a set-in cola stain on a beige carpet and it faded the stain, but didn't remove it. Even so, I'm glad I have it to clean up after smaller spills when they're still fresh.

What our customer's say! "Wool lite rug stick", The rug stick is great! I have area rugs that needed cleaned so I thought I'd try that. It's easy and really does the job!! "I'm realistic and I'm impressed", This does not replace a home steam cleaner or a rental steam cleaner but for spots or hard to reach area this is awesome. Our home's stairs were a particular issue and this did a great job on them. Be realistic about what this is and what it is designed to do and you won't be disappointed. "Too Pricy @ Amazon.com", I purchased the Woolite Carpet Cleaner through Amazon.com for $18.61 plus S&H. It cleaned a 5'X5' area rug with the small can of Woolite Foam that was in the kit. When I went to my local Stop & Shop I could not find the Woolite Foam. I did find the Woolite Carpet Kit for $11.00 which included the small can of foam. I checked at Wal-Mart for the foam and it was not available there either but they also had the kit for $11.00. "Did a great job for my set-in stains!", I must confess after I read the the reviews, some negative, I was hesitant but for the money I went ahead and gave it a try. Am I glad I did-I had set-in stains, either coffee or tea that someone had spilled and no matter what I did, it wouldn't come up. I did exactly as someone suggested, went at it from all different angles and really worked the foam in. I also discovered another larger stain when I lifted up a rug I had on top and attacked that as well. The stick didn't break, I didn't have to kneel down and the carpet is now drying. I can honestly say it looks ten times better than before-I can still see some faint stains which means I am getting the regular size can and going over it again-maybe it works differently on various carpets but I am so glad I purchased it. My rug really looks like new! "works great for the money!", this product far exceeded my expectations. i have used a Bissell Spot Bot for about a year and I have these 'water rings' in the carpet. i purchased the Rug Stick (downloadable coupon on Rug Stick website) for a little more than $10. It got the rings in my carpet up and we have berber. i noticed some of the other reviews weren't positive with berber...just be sure to use the rug stick at all angels...north, east, south and west. This will allow the foam to penetrate deep into the carpet fibers. I allow the foam to sit on the carpet for about a minute or two prior to rubbing it in. Also...allow your carpet to fully dry prior to vacuuming. I'm so excited about this product esp. since we love our carpet to look perfect on Thanksgiving. This product saved me hundreds of dollars that I was prepared to spend with a carpet cleaning company. I would reccommend this to all of my friends. the metal pole is lightweight, I used elbow grease and it didn't bend at all....some reviewers called it flimsy? I clean up messes daily and i have a cat, dog, a 1yr old and a very messy husband. this product is awesome because i no longer have to bend over to clean spills and messes...it gives your back a much needed break. Yesterday my son spilled a coke on the carpet...no sign of it today. Blot first though! 
Read this reviews before You buy... "good product but...", This is a good product but its alot of work if you have alot of area to cover and alot of dirt to get up..because you have to do it more then once to get it clean,,for spot cleaning id just as soon to get a small brush and use some resolve on it ..works great ..I thought this would be great =for larger areas but it doesnt get it all up the first time you have to go over and over it to get it clean but eventually it will clean it..just takes some time and elbow grease. "Woolite Rug Stick", I was very disappointed with almost all aspects of this product. It is very flimsy and the foam wouldn't come out very good - only in little spurts. As I cleaned with it, the areas looked hardly any different than before I started. A waste of money. "Great stop gap", We have white carpet and two children under age 5. This is a great product to touch up the traffic areas in between professional cleaning. Worked great for us. Dried quickly too, which is important with a busy family running around. "Not worth the money", I was impressed with the product when I saw it on TV. My rug looks no different than before I used it. Save your money "Not too bad, not a miracle worker.", We live in an apartment complex that decided light-patterned, berber carpet would be a good idea and started to get some dark, mystery spots. I was a bit skeptical, plus didn't think it would make a dent in berber carpet. Bottom line is you need to buy the refill right away, the sample size is pretty small. Work on a couple techniques, short scrubs in opposing and diagnal directions, and waiting for it to dry fully before vacuuming is pretty key. I didn't have a problem with it bending, you just have to be a bit careful, all in all, it exceeded expectations after giving it a couple runs. It's effectiveness is going to vary from carpet to carpet and stain to stain. |
