"The BEST Meat Tenderizer in the World" I love this product, I have one for myself and when my Sister in Law used mine she wanted one for herself. So for Christmas she got one and now she is in Heaven. "I used this in our restaruant EVERYDAY" Cheap meat turns into a steak, chicken cooks 30% faster and is not dried out. I had a restaurant in a lower economic area. I would buy whole Tri Tip roasts and cut as steaks. The flavor is great but not tender. I just beat the heck out of them with this great tool, and bang, very tender. It was our 14 oz steak night special for $11.99. Sold tons of them Also for boneless Chicken the heat gets in faster, they cook quicker without getting tough or stingy "GREAT meat tenderizer" I am not a kitchen gadget person, but I saw this meat tenderizer being used on two different Food Channel shows and had to have it. They explained that using the hammer-type tenderizers does not tenderize; they just smash the meat. They were right. I have used it three times so far -- on chicken breasts, on thin beef round steak to make cube steaks, and on a thicker chuck roast. This is an excellent product. Very well made, easy to use, spring action, no pounding, no smashing, easy to clean up afterwards. The tiny, sharp blades score the meat quickly and efficiently without smashing. Also great to use when you plan to marinade the meat after you have used the tenderizer. All that good marinade penetrates your chicken or beef. Have not used it on pork yet, but I will. Great way to tenderize cheaper cuts of beef. Well worth the price. It will pay for itself. I give 5-stars to this one. "Where haveyou been all my life" Lives up to all my expectations. I am an extremely accomplished cook who wonders why I didn't get one of these years ago. Am very pleased with the purchase. "Jaccard Tendermatic Meat Tenderizer 48 Blade" I purchased this product from Maine Supply. Excellent seller by the way. I have used the Jaccard on chuck steak, a 5lb rump roast, pork tenderloin, round steak, boneless chicken breast, and chuck roast. The product does exactly as stated. It without a doubt tenderizes, decreases cooking time, and allows for marinades to penetrate readily. Tenderizing the rump roast on all sides gives the arm a workout but not too bad. And it is not as hard to clean up as some may lead you to believe as long as you clean right after using it and dont let the meat residuals dry on it. The benefit of the product by far out weighs any difficulty in cleaning. I cannot say enough good things about the Jaccard.

What our customer's say! "Steaks are Extremely Tender!", Jaccard Tendermatic Meat Tenderizer 48 Blade Purchased this tool in May 2008 and have used it on Steaks, Roasts & Chicken. The ease of use along with the outstanding results are mind-baffling. Having seen it on the Emiril TV show, (highly recommended I might add) I thought it *might* be useful. Well, it's outdone itself in my opinion and now, I see Amazon has it at a lower price than I paid in May! Every steak aficionado out there owes it to themselves to have one of these! "Yup, it works", You might think this sort of kitchen gadget is all hype and doesn't really work. I read the reviews and took the plunge, but I was still skeptical. The first thing I did was to eat a piece of broiled flank steak like it was hamburger, literally fork tender. Everyone should have one of these things, especially for summer grilling. "Awesome product", This makes tenderizing meat SO MUCH EASIER! Used to use a fork and have to hold down the meat with a knife or something. With all the blades and the spring action this makes the job easy and clean up is fast and simple too. We first saw something like this on YouTube when we saw the "Texas Country Reporter" feature on "Chicken Fried Bacon" ([...]) and when they were talking about the stakehouse's steaks, we saw the kitchen staff using a tenderizer a lot like this. My wife searched on line until she found what appears to be the best one... and this one is VERY GOOD! "Unbelievable! You won't be disappointed!", This meat tenderizer is fantastic! I buy grassfed and finished beef straight from the farm which requires a little bit different cooking method, and my roasts and steaks are so tender I CAN BUY THE LESSER CUT AND STILL HAVE MORE TENDERNESS THAN THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES! So, not only does it save you cooking time, IT SAVES YOU MONEY! It is also sooooo much healthier than using that "poison," MSG, to tenderize meats. This was a purchase I made on a whim, and I am really, really happy with it! If you like tender meat, try it. You won't be disappointed! I especially use it on cuts I marinate. The jacard makes multiple cuts in the meat and allows marinades to invade the meat more thoroughly. Cooking time is also reduced. Liz, Central NY "And it really,really works!", I saw Alton Brown use a blade tenderizer to make cube steak, so I went to the local kitchen store to pick one up.The only tenderizers they had,were the mallet type,so I went to Amazon and picked out this one, for no particular reason. This one does a very nice job, it makes the meat very tender without making it look like a piece of roadkill. I would guess the marinade would flavor the meat better with all of the holes, bit I marinate overnight anyway, so I'll have to take their word for it. ![]() |
