"Not Toasty At All" Our company is buying us these in an effort to save money by getting us to take our space heaters home. I've had mine set up as a heating panel (positioned vertically) under my desk for three days and I even forgot it was there because I don't feel any heat. Now I just laid it flat on the floor in the high heat position, and I can feel a little heat coming through my shoes. That's okay if you can sit with your feet perfectly flat and don't move, but I can't sit like that for long. I'm glad I didn't pay for this. I'm keeping my space heater. "makes home office comfortable" My home office is in a walkout basement. The concrete floor is very cold and this puts the heat on my feet, and not the whole room. My only issue is the hot spots, the heat is not evenly distributed across the unit. "It does the job" Easy to set up & use, and it keeps feet nice & warm. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because (a) it's made of hard plastic that's a bit uncomfortable after a while on bare or stocking feet, and (b) it's a bit overpriced. It's just a piece of injection-molded plastic with a small heating element... should be more like $40. It has 3 heat settings: off, foot-warmer, and radiant-panel. Haven't tried the panel setting, but the foot-warmer setting is nice. Would be better if there were more of a range of settings (foot-warm-low, foot-warm-high), and for the price I'd kinda expect this. A good feature is the angled base: when sitting in a chair and stretching your feet out to it, the angle is comfortable on the ankles. I put mine on a plug-in timer: no need to consume 90 watts 24/7, I only run it from 2PM to midnight. In summary, despite the omission of a few minor features and being slightly pricey, I'm glad I got it and I would recommend it to anyone looking to end cold feet under their desk. "Awesome product" I love this product. A space heater cannot heat an entire room, and blows dust all over the place and is very noisy. This product keeps me very warm, with no blowing or noise, and much less electricity use.

What our customer's say! "Awesome for me and as a bird cage heater", I live in part of the country where outside temps go as low as 40 below Fahrenheit in the winter. We keep our house at 62 Fahrenheit. I've been using this heater for over a year in my office in our basement where I work all day. It's an absolute lifesaver on concrete floors or floors with thin carpeting. Our pet conure also has one of these as his cage warmer (the footrest heater has wall/foot heater settings) for the winter months. Very highly recommended. "F*ck you winter", I should have bought one of these 4 years ago. I tend to spend much of my free time at my computer(especially in the winter). I used to wrap my feet in blankets, although that is more energy efficient than this it would take so long for them to warm up. With Toasty Toes I turned it on and within a few minuets I have warm feet, and about 15 mins later they are really warm. I wear a size 11.5US shoe(mens) and my feet this with about 1 inch to spare. If your feet are bigger than mine there is plenty of room on the sides to angle your feet so they do fit; heck right now I'm warming my feet and drying off my shoes that got wet in the rain today. If you are really cheap you could turn your heat way down and sit across from your roommate and both of you could share one of these. The only con. The plastic doesn't feel super thick so I'm going to return the hammer I bought for putting this through a durability test. Buy it. "No more cold feet or legs!", I work in a medical office which has to have air flow constantly circulating in the treatment rooms so they won't get too warm. I was using a ceramic space heater which blows hot air - not very good to use under my desk which could cause the computer to overheat, much less the expense of running one of those! Anyhow, the docs suggested Toasty Toes. I just received it today, plugged it in and it works wonderfully! I can even feel the heat through my shoes and on my calves. It's not overly hot under the desk, so the computer is a bit more safe! I recommend this to anyone who suffers from cold feet in the winter! I'm even thinking about getting one for my desk at home! A great investment! "Nice and warm", Works pretty good. Keeps your feet warm if they are in socks. Heat isn't quite strong enough to feel through most shoes. Just ones with thin soles. This thing also needs rubber feet to keep it from sliding on a chair mat. "Cold Floors No Longer a Problem", I spend long hours at my computer and I keep my apartment at around 58 degrees. The floors however are cold and I wanted a heated foot pad or foot rest to warm my feet and legs. The Toasty Toes Heated Footrest fulfilled my needs perfectly; the price was right and the unit is economical to operate. ![]()
