You wonder why it is so much more expensive to purchase a SIGG over an OGGI? That's because OGGI is made in China...with all of the negatives that brings. SIGG has a US connection--they have a subsidiary in Connecticut--and are based in Switzerland, where human rights abuses, shoddy construction, and unsafe materials and paint are not things you have to worry about.

"Great Sigg Alternative."
The OGGI bottles feel just as nice in-hand, if not nicer than those made by SIGG, mine haven't dented yet. They have the same sort of "lining" inside, and as far as I can tell there isn't any kind of bad taste to speak of.

OGGI bottles DO fit in your cupholders in the car, which is huge plus for me.

Lastly I suggest you get yourself a bottle-brush, as it makes it way easier to clean :)

This bottle was very reasonably priced. I use it all the time and I am very pleased with it.

"GREAT purchase!"
This bottle rocks! Just as good as a Sigg bottle, but without the $50 price tag. I take it everywhere with me and refill it at home with my filtered tap or out on the town at water fountains. Because of the friendly price, I have bought a bunch more for friends and family and in turn, they have fallen in love with the bottles and bought some for their friends! Thanks to these bottles and a easy purchase of a Brita pitcher, I was able to help my boyfriend's parents stop using and throwing away over 24 plastic water bottles a week!! I suggest this combo for anyone addicted to waste!

"Love my water bottle"
I purchased 4 oggi water bottles, after deciding that I didn't want to spend a small fortune on Sigg. I take my bottle to work and love it. My kids use theirs at their bedside and haven't said much about them. My husband hasn't used his at all. I really like the fact that it doesn't leak. Although I thought I wanted a smaller bottle, this has worked out great, and I'm actually drinking more water because of it. I live in a humid environment and haven't noticed it sweating, at all. I gave it four stars instead of five, because it's already dented (I only dropped it once)! I am promoting the product to my coworkers and generally encouraging everyone I know to stop buying bottled water. Thank you Oggi for reforming me!
