Makes the gaming all the more complete. I have encountered no problems after many hours of gaming, so it def. got it's workout. Durable too!! "Cheap Trick" Selling this without the cable you need to use it is insulting. If you're paying $50 for this this you can afford the cable, but getting it out of the box and having to go back and find a cable is an annoyance. Be warned. "the rumble doesn't work with call of duty 4 game", this control doesn't work for some games, only the ones that support rumble. so far doesn't work for call of duty 4 and motor storm. it works for assassin's creed. those are the only games that i have. "Great Addition", This product does a fine job of helping to enhance many gaming experiences on the playstation 3. It functions just as well as the standard controller with a little added weight and also a vibration function. This feature varies depending on the game it's working with. Battery life seems to be about the same as the standard as well. If you would like to not just see and hear but also to feel your gaming experience in your hands then this is the product for you. "IT'S BACK!", I'm so glad that I got the Dual Shock 3 controllers!!! This is the way PlayStation games should be played. If you play Madden and are not using these controllers, you're cheating yourself. They only weigh a few ounces more, which is expected, and they work great!!! I got 'em in 3 days, thanks Amazon.com! "It wasn't broken, but now it's a bit dated", The saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' would have been a fair response when deciding what to do with the next gen Playstation controller, and Sony seems to have agreed for the most part. The PS2 Dual Shock controller was easily the best design of any of its competitors. Unfortunately, Microsoft's mild tweaks to the Xbox controller were brilliant, and Sony's few additions were useless except for the wireless capability, and it even took them a while to get around to bringing back the rumble feature. Microsoft smartly resisted overhauling their controller and recognized how to perfect the basic design by downsizing, rounding off some hard edges, and moving the black and white buttons as well-sized, nimbly responsive shoulder buttons. The PS3 controller is still a fine controller, and the best one for the Playstation, but Microsoft stepped out of character and actually made a brilliantly improved product (along with the Xbox itself) that now has, to my mind, taken the throne as best designed controller. This controller coupled with a nice rubbery silicon covering for it makes it the perfect controller for the PS3, just avoid the Six-axis use whenver you can -- more gimmick than benefit. "cool", exactly as stated... ps3 dualshock 3 bluetooth controller (sixaxis and rechargeable), by sony. everything is perfect and amazon was the cheapest place i found it. glad to have a dualshock now finally.

"dualshock worth the weight?", ok so luckily i got this controller cheap because after playing with the sixaxis for so long it feels like im using a log as a controller when using a dualshock 3,i mean seriously?this thing weights more then a dualshock 2,i dont know about you guys but the vibrations just not worth all that weight to me "As Expected", Works as expected. Same as normal controller with added vibration function. Works very well. "It's a controller, nothing more", It works okay. Not the most responsive controller, but maybe the best available for PS3. "The PS3 Is Perfect And So Are The Controls", OK, now we're in the generation of gaming with motion sensitive controlling, which has become a worldwide phenomena thanks to the Wiii. With the PS3 Sony have utilised the motion sensitive gaming whilst keeping the conventionally easy PS3 controller. The SIXAXIS controls of the PS3 pad allow game producers to implement certain motion sensitive aspects to their games, without it becoming too much for those less active gamers. The Dualshock controllers have been a part of the Playstation generation since the beginning and now they have the Dualshock 3. A controller that reacts with vibrations at certain instances within the game. Say if you're using the SIXAXIS while playing a driving game, you're steering the car with the motion sensing turned on, and you collide with a wall. The pad would vibrate with the same level of ferocity of how you hit the wall, in a sense giving you that additional level of realism. The battery life and size are also something I want to touch upon with the wireless PS3 pads. A full charge can literally give you more than 12 hours of solid gaming, and when compared to the wireless XBOX360 pads, the PS3 version is minute. It's light and just generally easy to hold when compared to the bulky and annoying XBOX360 pad. If you have a PS3, you should definitely own a wireless pad. So buy it. |
