"Wii Fit goes green" The recharger works great. It is a bit of a tight fit installing it in the balance board battery bay so I would recommend schlepping your balance board over to the Wii and charging it with the pack installed. Charge lasts for about 5 - 10 sessions. I'm sure I've saved enough in batteries to pay for this unit. It's a no-brainer, if you have a balance board, you need this charger. "Hassle Free" The recharge battery pack for the WII fit is easy to use and really saves you money. Great option to have. "Works well, but comes up a little short" The rechargeable battery pack works well, but it seems like it needs to be plugged in a lot more than I'd like. It would be more helpful if the USB cord was longer so you could actually use the feature of being able to plug it into the Wii console as you work out so it continues to charge. I will have to purchase a USB extension to be able to fully use it. "Wii battery recharger" The green charging light stays on and does not go off after a full charge - so you never know status. Aside from that, it's OK "Don't make a mistake" I bought this in a bundle from a major retailer and had a problem with the fit board only to find out Nintendo says this voids your warrenty. Right now I am having to pay postage and repairs for the item. They did show me in the handbook where it states the use of NON-Wii items voids the warrenty. I think the retailers should back the warrenty as they are selling this in bundles and I don't think everyone would know it was wrong to use it.

What our customer's say! "Won't take a charge", This worked fine for the first 3 months. Now it won't take a full charge. The Wii Fit tells us our battery is low. We can use it plugged into the Wii which is works for us but it's not right. "Battery Pack", we use the wii fit balance board every day. this helps not to rub out of batteries. we just love anything that has to do with the wii fit games!!! "A waste of money", I use my balance board 5-7 days per week, between 30-45 minutes at a time, sometimes much longer. The original batteries that came with my Wii Fit lasted 94 days..to spend this kind of money for a battery pack that you have to plug in is not necessary in my opinion. I leave my balance board in the same place all the time. Why would I want to be plugging it in all the time? Much more trouble than simply replacing the batteries every 3 months. I suppose if you have a large family using it 2-3 hours per day, it might be worth it, but 4 AA batteries aren't that expensive and anyway, if you already have rechargeables and a charger, this is extraneous. A better investment would be a regular AA battery charger. "un chargeable", I can't get it to charge Ihave plugged it into the usb port on my wii system that I also bought from amazon but it won't charge or anything I guess I've got a lemon but that just figures "Battery Pack for the Wii Fit", Why have to worry about the battery power on the Wii Fit when you can just plug it in and forget about it while it's not in use. The Wii Fit uses a lot of energy if you are on it for long periods of time. This is a great option. You can plug it in overnight and then when you are ready to use it you can unplug it and move the balance board wherever you like or you can leave it plugged in, the cord is pretty long. Either way it beats replacing the batteries so frequently. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "Worked Once. Now it is useless.", Great Idea. I only wish it worked more than once. We followed the directions charging it for the required amount of time before it's first use. We got a great first use out of it. Now it doesn't work at all. It's not worth paying the money to ship the bad one and pay for the return shipping so we just ate the 20 bucks. Now I am going to go get a rechargeable set of AAA batteries. "battery pack", This is a great item, beats having to go out to buy AA batteries. This product is easy to use. Great way to save money. I would definitly recommend this to any one who has the Wii Fit. "Be Aware--Voids Warranty!!!", I had the same problem as described in other reviews of Communication Lost. Just got off the phone with Nintendo & found out that it caused damage to the B. Board. Even after putting regular batteries in, it still lost commumication. I now have to send it in for repair,& wait approx. 2 wks. to get it back. Warranty is VOIDED for using a product that is not licensed by Nintendo. This also goes for the rechargeable batteries with a charging station for the controllers. "Meets expectations", Its a battery pack. I wired it into a 4.5V transformer and it hold a charge for a day maybe two. Increasing the EMF from the transformer might give you a few more hours of game time. But for ten dollars you can recoup the cost of this in 4-6 months depending on how often you play. "Frequent loss of communication between board & console", While using this battery pack, I experience frequent communication interruptions between the balance board and the game console. Suspicion is it happens because of a combination of the battery case being located under the left foot contact area and the battery pack only having 2 contacts with the board instead of the 8 that using AA batteries would provide. |
