"Works great and does what it should", I didn't buy this here, but I bought one about 3 months ago and I can say that it is sealed nicely, and the metal ball mixes up the crappy protien powder better than a mixer does. Way better, really. Also, the openening is sealed really well and easy to drink from, meaning it is just the right size for drinking from without a mess. Just a great, cheap product that's really worth it's value.

I love the shakers with the little blender ball the most. They create a higher quality and consistency in the shake than any other shakers. This is especially vital because of my ABC bodybuilding's Window of Opportunity Shake that I use.

Please keep in mind that it is a guide, not a dogma. Do what feels right and what works for you.

The Window of Opportunity is a post-workout shake that I used when I put on over 30 pounds of muscle within 3 months. My bench went from 215 pounds to 450, body fat from 7% to 3%, and mile time from 6 minutes to 5. It works.

Here are the quick basics, although you definitely must read the article yourself.

After the work out, you should consume .22 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight and 5 grams of carbohydrate (half dextrose, half maltodextrin) per 10 pounds of lean muscle mass for bulking, or 2.5 grams of carbohydrate (half dextrose, half maltodextrin) per 10 pounds of lean muscle mass for cutting.

You should also consume 5-10 grams of creatine, 5-10 grams of glutamine, and a multi-anti-oxidant formula. All this must be done over a 45-60 minute period.

The 45-60 minute sequence is vital:

Step One:
* Blend 1/3 protein (experiment to find the exact number for you), 1/3 dextrose (simple sugar), and 1/3 maltodextrin (complex sugar) with enough water (water should be at least 92% of the total mixture). Add 500 mg of sodium per liter of water used.
* Shake the ingredients well. Put creatine powder in your mouth (5-10 grams when starting, 2.5-5 grams once body is saturated with creatine) and drink the shake to wash the creatine down. It is better to do this than to mix the creatine in water, as that makes creatine lose its potency.
* Drink one half of the shake within 5 minutes of working out. After this 5 minutes, allow an additional 10-15 minutes for the solution to settle in your stomach.

Step 2:
* After the solution has dissolved in your stomach for 10-15 minutes, consume 5-10 grams of Glutamine and your multi-vitamin (Life Force) with one gulp of the shake.
* Continue to drink the remaining half of the shake for the following 30-45 minute period.
* It is vital to drink small sips of your shake for the entire 30-45 minute period. This allows for maximum absorption rate of the nutrients into your body.

Step 3:
* Take fish oil with a meal, preferably at breakfast.
* Take ZMA on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before you go to sleep.


"just ok!", Im not sure what everyone loves about this bottle. i've have had it now for three months and i use it 3-5 times a day. its true that it doesnt leak which is good but it doesnt break up my protein any better than a standard bottle without a stupid wire ball.

"Simply Awesome", Got this thing recently; saw it at GNC and bought it from here and saved about $3. Things I have mixed up in this so far:

1) Scrambled eggs.
2) Protein shakes.
3) Guacamole. (Seriously. I had to shake it hard but it was worth it.)
4) Martinis. (Cracks the ice nicely, shaker ball helps to strain).

Washes easily, does not retain smells or discoloration, very tough, etc. A great gadget, I wish I'd thought of this idea and patented it myself.

"A sturdy blender bottle that doesn't leak", I've bought cheaper shaker bottles before and all of them leaked. On the suggestion of a friend, I bought a Blender Bottle and I'm glad I did. Now I never have to worry about protein drinks or eggs leaking all over my floor. The metal whisk works pretty well and the plastic is thick and sturdy. Recommended.

"Surprisingly effective.", I have to admit, I was very suspicious about this. I didn't think it would well at all. It basically looks like a plastic bottle with a wirey ball inside. And that's pretty much exactly what it is. Not very inspiring. Yet when I tried it, it blended unbelievable well. Not even a conventional blender can smooth out the protein shakes I'm taking without me scraping off the powder from the sides. Yet this little device does it with a seconds of shaking. F'n ingenious. It actually sort of blows my mind how well it works. I'm rarely ever impressed enough to leave a review, but this thing does it.

Other notes: its easy to clean, very sturdy, and doesn't leak. I do wish it was a bit bigger.

The only small complaiint is that shipping rates from this company are pretty high compared to the size/weight of the bottle. But I would pay twice as much for the Blender Bottle anyway.

"Blends hard-to-mix powers and very sturdy", Some of the hard to mix powders (waxy maize starch, hydrolyzed protein, etc.) normally require a blender which is less convenient and more work to cleanup. The Blender Bottle solves mixability issues and doesn't leave undissolved powder at the bottom of the bottle. The cups and lids are sturdy and do not leak. I have seven and have used them daily for years with no complaints.

"Exactly what I have been looking for ", This is shaker bottle is exactly what I have been looking for after having to dealing with the leaky Bodybuilding.com bottle. Unlike that one, this is made of much stronger plastic and provides a mroe practical way to drink the protein shake from -- I don't have to twist open the cap like the old one.

Also for the same amount of protein, it takes less time to blend it with water. I attribute that to the ingenius steel ball and the fact that you can shake harder without worrying about leaks.

I only wish Amazon would carry it themselves so I didn't have to pay for shipping (Prime member here).

"Great product!", Meal replacement drinks mix very well in this. The "wisk ball" really help to mix all the powder up so you don't get nasty clumps of powder you have to choke down.

"The Perfect Shaker --- Don't mess with anything else", I tired 3 other shaker cups before a coworker recommended the Blender Bottle for my protein shakes. This thing is like Mary Poppins: practically perfect in every way. Holy smokes! They got everything right! The highest quality shaker I've ever seen. I'm ordering more as gifts and to have in the kitchen to use with pancake mix, etc.
