"thirsty towels"
I highly recommend these Pike Street towels. They are very thirsty towels. Only 2 things you must remember. Wash before using, by themselves and wash with other towels after that. Do not mix with clothes. Lint occurs on the clothes, and I have a new washer. It dimishes over time. But by all means they are an excellent buy; and they are much bigger than other towels I have purchased elsewhere. The wash cloths are very large.

"Egyptian Cotton Towel set"
I am happy with the price I paid and with the towel set. The only thing I don't like about these towels is that the towel pile comes off every time I wash it. And it comes off on my body when I use it. But I like the softness and the thickness of the towels. And I notice that the more times I dry them, the less of the fuzz comes off on me.

"Egyptian towels"
The quality of these towels are excellent. I bought two sets, have laundered them many times - no shrinkage or raveling. Just a great buy!

"Bath Towels"
These towels are wonderful. They are so soft until I cannot wait until the next shower to dry my body. Every woman should have these towels. They are great!

"Great towels"
The Pike Street Towels were perfect for our new bathroom. Great quality. We have used these exclusively since receiving. The have been washed and dried several times. They have retained there color, size and quality. A great value priced item.

What our customer's say!

"Dissapointed", I purchased these towels after much searching and decided to take a gamble since there were mixed reviews. Big mistake. I received them today and washed them as per the directions prior to first use and now they are in tatters. The stitching along them hem was very poorly done and came apart requiring me to trim loose threads. Also the color completely faded even with being washed in cold water with color guard detergent. They look like I have had them for years and I haven't even used them yet. Waste of money and now my husband can tell me I told you so. =(

"Keep my dry", I got these towels as a deal and they keep me dry and seem to stay pretty fresh and clean.

"Excellent Towels for the price!!!", We have bought several sets of these towels over the past year and must say that we are REALLY happy. The towels are SOFT and absorbant. I am always looking for soft towels.....so when I saw the egyptian cotton set at a fabulous price I figured I would give them a shot. I am so glad I did. How can you go wrong? After all the washes this past year, mine are still going strong and getting softer. No shredding, no color problems... If they happen to fall apart one day, I will buy them again. Why? Because they get the job done, are ultra soft and an excellent bargain.

Recommend!

"A Brick is Brick and Red is Red.", I was a little unhappy when the towels arrived. Brick is more maroon. Also they are not as soft as EGYPTIAN cotton from retail stores. Sorry Amazon.

"Super Value", Great towels for the money; much better than expected. Ordered extra for gifts to my college age sons.

Read this reviews before You buy...

"I gambled and I lost", After reading a ton of 5-star as well as 1-star reviews for these towels, I bought 2 sets (taupe & blue) when they were a Gold Box Deal for $19.99/set. I've never regretted an Amazon purchase more! I washed them the day they came in the mail (following the directions on the packaging), and they looked and felt great when they came out of the dryer. However, the taupe towels were covered in orange splotches and the blue ones in white splotches before they even went in the washer for the second time! What the heck?! As a woman I use a wide array of cleansers and lotions, but nothing was ever applied directly to the towel, and I've never had this "staining" problem with any of my other towels before! I am so disappointed! I'll think twice from now on before purchasing a product manufactured by Amazon.

"Egyptian cotton towel set", I am really pleased with the set of towels I bought, they are so thick and soft and plush. They beat hell out of the towels I bought at Macy's 2 years ago.

"Very nice towels!", These towels are a great quality and are very soft. I was very pleased, especially for the price.

"Great Towels at a Great Price", I was a bit hesitant to order after reading the conflicting reviews - it appears that you either LOVE these or HATE these. In my case, it was LOVE. I must admit I didn't have a lot of expectations (they were only $20 for a 6-piece set after all!) but they're definitely doing the job and have held up through many washings now.

"Disappointing!", I bought these towels about the same time I bought some Pike Street Egyptian cotton sheets. The sheets were fabulous, but the towels are very disappointing. The first wash created loads of "hanging chads" on the towels. These towels are also probably the most least absorbent towels I have ever owned. They just spread the moisture around instead of wiping it off. I will buy Pike Street sheets in the future, but I will never buy any more of their towels. Because of the pulled threads on the towels, I can't even put them in the guest bathroom to just look nice--because they don't. I'm not sure how Pike Street can make such good sheets and such bad towels, but that is my experience with them.
