"Great gift " My husband saw this on a TV show and thought is was very cool. I found it at amazon. It looks great. Very detailed and accurate. The colors are bright. I have to admit it is fun to have and I have actually learned a thing or two I missed in high school chemistry. Image gold and iron being just one proton different! Who knew! The item arrived right on time. It was one of the easiest transactions I have had on Amazon. I would purchase from this seller again. "ROTFLMAO!" I could have used one of these when I was in college! I had a periodic table t-shirt but this is even better because you can get all the details on it (plus, a few elements have been created in the ensuing years). Plus, you don't have to look at it upside down this way. I saw something like this on an ad for a TV show a few days ago. Too funny! "Great gift" My daughter is a biochemistry major in college. She needed a new shower curtain for her apartment. This was a funny birthday gift -- which she actually got really excited about, then pronounced herself a hopeless science geek. "Periodic Table Shower Curtain" The shower curtain is lightweight but sturdy and is up to date. It includes the elements all the way up to #111(Roentgenium). Delivery was very prompt. "Good idea but flawed" It's a great concept and nicely executed except for one thing. The curtain itself is printed on an ultra thin, ultra light vinyl that doesn't hang properly. In my shower, at least, when the water's running it waves like a flag in the wind, clinging to my body and being a nuisance. Get yourself a plastic liner if you plan to buy this curtain.

What our customer's say! "Shower curtain a hit..", My daughter saw this shower curtain somewhere and fell in love with it. She received it as part of her gifts on her 16th birthday. She loves it! The night of her party all her friends thought it odd that she was "taking them to the bathroom" until they saw the shower curtain. It was a big hit. We put a plastic liner up with it and so far all is well. "Perfect Birthday Present", I bought this shower curtain for my daughter's birthday. She had expressed an interest in it when we saw it on display, in her science classroom, during her school's Open House. When she received it she called me right away to tell me how great it was--and she's told me twice since. She has always loved the periodic table--weird that she is an Art Historian, not a chemist. "Thrilled the recipient, hangs great!", This curtain was an instant hit -- we weren't sure how well it would be received by our high school age daughter, but it was her big thrill at Christmas. She had it hung up before she even busted Guitar Hero out of its box. The curtain itself is not heavy duty, so if you're looking for something that can withstand tugging and pulling by little hands, this is not the curtain for your family. For the science geek in your life, this is a great gift. "Now Spending Time In The Bathroom Is A Learning Experience", I am a nerd. I love being a nerd and would gladly shout it from the rooftops except that I have no roof access at my apartment. I ordered this as a birthday present to myself and was not disappointed. It is well manufactured and now I needn't bring reading material to the bathroom with me. It's the perfect shower curtain for a nerd (and I mean in the kindest sense). 
Read this reviews before You buy... "College Chemistry Majors Favorite Christmas Gift", I bought this curtain sort of as a gag gift for my daughter who is a college freshman majoring in chemistry. I thought it would be funny and over in about an hour. No way, she loves this thing and plans to use it as a wall hanging in her dorm room "I'm not putting that in the shower, you wont be able to see all the elements". It is made of sturdy vinyl (not the thin cheap stuff) with a complete and totally accurate periodic table. Well worth the price!!!!!!!!!! "A BIG HIT ON CAMPUS!", I ordered this for my daughter's "Johnny Stall" at her college dorm. It brought out plenty of positive comments! |
