"Mine went in the trash" The first time I put it in the dishwasher it would no longer stick to anything. Ended up in the trash. "Love the suction" I use this bowl when I feed my daughter cereal and the suction is great as compared to other bowls I purchased.I only handwash it so I dont know about the dishwasher problem "Boon products are cheaply made" So far, every Boon product I've purchased has been a piece of garbage. This one was top of the line junk. Like the others have said, the rubber warps, and the suction isn't toddler proof. Although, to be fair, not many suction bowls are toddler proof. The spill catcher annoyed my son, so I had to turn it the other way, so that it wasn't in his way. And, to boot, it's ripping at the seams where it meets the bowl. Again, if you're looking for something that's BPA free, there are tons of other sturdy options out there. Boon's "mod" and trendy looking designs are just for show. Nothing that I've purchased from them has been at all functional. "Not helpful" This item is not a spill catcher and the suction bottom doesn't hardly suction at all! My 16 month old pulled the suction bowl right off. I guess it could be for 2-3 year olds, but not for small toddlers. "Don't waste your money!" It is NOT dishwasher safe (although it says that it is) the food catcher warped on the top shelf of my dishwasher the first time it was washed. It also never stuck to the high chair tray, even right out of the package when I tried it out...my daughter just picked it right up and threw it (by the food catcher). Maybe it should have been a bit more kid tested and dishwasher tested as well.

What our customer's say! "BPA FREE WAS THE BIG CATCH FOR ME!", After hearing reports about BPA in baby products, I went through and replaced all bowls, cups, etc. This was my first bowl purchase. I love the colors for my daughter. I bought this bowl entirely for the fact that it is BPA free and wasn't crazy expensive like some of the other BPA free products out there. I only handwash this bowl and the suction works great for us. However, I could care less if it did. It's a great bowl with a very modern look and is safe for my child. That's a BIG plus for me! "Not Dishwasher safe", Very disappointed that on the first run through the dishwasher the base warped so much that it can never be used, sitting flat or with suction, again. Waste of money although the deisgn was good. "Great Idea/Design, Bad Material", Love this bowl but ran into the same problem: dishwasher warped the rubber parts, the suction cup became useless, the flap warped. THERE IS A FIX THOUGH: boil it gently for a minute or so in a large pot, then sit it lightly, suction cup down, on a cold flat surface (such as marble counter top). My suction cup adapted back into its functional shape. I flipped over the plate to flatten the still-hot flap the same way, but it didn't get entirely even again. Since then i have been handwashing my 'acceptable looking' bowl and it never got badly deformed again. It does work very well for it's intended purpose - catching the dribblings... "Don't put it in the dishwasher!", I thought this bowl would be perfect for my twin one year olds to use when they practice using silverware. It worked pretty well after I handwashed it for the first use. Suction cup held fairly well and the bowl lip prevented some spills. However, the package says it's dishwasher safe. It's not. After one washing in the top of the dishwasher, both bowls came out with warped suction cups & lips, so they won't suction to the highchair anymore & the lips look funny. As long as you always handwash it, it should be fine. "Stylish but doesn't work well", This is an elegant bowl (not that babies care about elegance), but the suction cup doesn't work. It adheres for perhaps ten seconds and then pops free. Also, the blue lip and base stain easily; after a meal of carrots, they're now green. 
Read this reviews before You buy... "waste of money", Don't bother. The suction on this has nothing on my child, and the extra "catcher" is basically an added grip point for the kids to toss across the room. "Not worth it!", The suction and spill catcher got warped after being in the dish washer for the first time. The suction cup doesn't stick well on my son's high chair table. It's not worth the money. "loved it only once", I loved how this bowl worked the first time I used it (hence the two stars) - But I had handwashed it when I first got it. The first time I stuck it in the dishwasher the suction cup and spill catcher completely disfigured making it unusable. I was pretty bummed. "not impressed.....", Although great concept...it doesn't stick to her tray on the high chair. Not something I would feel easy about taking my hand from without thinking it may get tossed to the floor. "bowl was a waste of money!!!! ", I bought this product thinking that 1) the suction would work (it didn't really) 2) warped completely after the first time I put it in the dishwasher and it says dishwasher safe! 3) I gave my son spagetti in the bowl and the sauce stained the bowl! 4) I definitely want my money back I paid over a 11 dollars for a bowl that is basically useless as it doesn't even sit properly as the suction is all warped. There should be a recall for this item and money should be refunded to all who buy this item. |
